They faced death in either the outcome or any period between hijacking and the mission results in what was a suicide mission. Not everyone will face death in this way or willingly.
Two of the three mission targets were civilian, hence why I think the mission was cowardly. Although I completely acknowledge civilians are targets by Israeli, America, etc. Civilians are always targets in war.
I put it to you Bogart, that the target were not in the main civilians (even if they are 'always' the target', good of you to acknowledge the other side, you are growing on me Bogart.
They chose those targets because they were the economic, political and military symbols of the unholy trinity that makes Amreeka the 500lb gorilla it is. They could have chosen specific times and dates for 11/9, when there would have been more casualties. (My heart goes out to those innocents on the plane, my mind travels to an imaginary child, it was morning/weekday so maybe there were not many, travelling with their parents - the same parents unable to help their children because they themselves were defenceless - I mean how can you look your child in the face with what was happening, what would one say...)
They could have chosen to fly two/three planes each into nuclear stations, more casualties? more longer lasting damage. The jihadis sure did punch the two front teeth out of the Manhattan skyline, expecting the muslims of the west to rise with up them (that was a miscalculation, we are too cushty). Since then it has been payback, the downer for the high. (for the jihadis)
University isnt the place where one gets extra help from professors. Each student is responsible for themselves. If one is struggling it is up to the student to work/study harder or take whatever necessary steps to improve. For myself I have never required a tutor. It is all down to the effort I put into the course. If I struggle I know it's because I am slacking and change my study format. I changed this format for biology as my previous format wasn't as successful for this class as it was for English literature or History for example.
I am beginning to really like you, be worried, I might ask you to marry me lol. So I wisearsecrack a opinion on why you talk to your utor the most in a individual class, is it because you are the most inquisitive or the most needing of help. You young sir, avoid the actual question but go all matter-of-factly. So would I.
We face our "demons" sooner or later. It is not so much that we brush issues under the carpet. We, as humans, just ignore the lessons of the past and repeat the same mistakes.
Will you marry, I am allowed under Islamic Law to have four wives and under UK Law I can marry a fella, it is gresat, taking from both cultures, truly assimilated. The 'demons' are the crux imo for the advancement of mankind lol, instead of repeating past mistakes, recycling the generations, same shit different decade, it should be examined and scrutinised.
I think men should be euthanized at 45-50, not alphas (I would only have three months tops at the lower age level).
I mean I grew up before technology and the reason I say media/porn/internet might not make a difference is that imagination is sicker than anything found on celluloid. The older you get the worse it gets, OZ does it level off, something to do with bad testosterone, SHBG (or some combination of these letters)the older you get.
I think our ancestors did not live much beyond 45 -55, alphas probably at the longest, in that short span of life (relatively) man needs to learn/acquire/utilise his reproductive skills, the females at the same time undergo menopause at mostly 45/50/55 usually, but man can impregnate till 90(viagara), why the discrepancy? Is it because females were not meant to live much beyond that and in the shorter (this is true if indeed it was short, nasty and brutish - caveman life- rather than egalitarian so to speak)time man was evolutionary allowed to spread his genes for as long as he can (in his life)
Old men now, were probably not meant to be at this age. Our sexuality was engineered for shorter life spans.
You caught me on a good day. I usually follow the philosophy of acknowledging mistakes but never admitting to the mistakes publicly.
I acknowledge them all the time, it is how you learn and show willingness to learn.
To put it simply do you want me to answer your hypothetical scenarios using the knowledge I have of alternative outlets working or answer from a blank state position?
Chill. Roll Up. Enjoy
Freewill is an illusion as we are always constrained by interior and exterior influences.
Bogart, you are a very interesting fella, thank you for your time in wanting to engage with me. Much appreciated.
Cheers

ETA - any lack of coherency point it out.
I loved yesterday Dave MK asking me twice to clarify - and then I saw it for myself - my first post to Dave yesterday was rambling two sentences that made total sense to me, but nobody else perhaps, two clarifications later it was
Dave MK - Hmm, not thought of that.
he received clarification.
