You're from Saudi/UAE!? Wow, you're really brave Afro.  I think we have one more person who's from Saudi on this site.  Hope you like it among us GODLESS HEATHENS.

Actually I think we at least 4 Saudis now.

Bahahaha! I have too many to quote so I'm just going to mash it all up lol. Sorry.

Aurora: No, I want to be Brain!

There actually a quiet amount of Saudi atheists Smiley some even living in Saudi Arabia which is really hard. Saudi atheists are like the sweetest type of Saudi people I've ever met! So smart and caring. Not sexist at all like the despicable sharia law that rules over it. Saudi atheists that are women are the strongest women I've ever met. If only they were brave enough to speak up about the atrocities that happen in Saudi and other Islamic countries worldwide. But yes, not only will they be censored but they'll be harassed everywhere, dishonor the family, and last but not least... dead! Yay! I have a few friends back in Saudi who are atheists ut they're not on this site. They're a bit lazy like me -_- hahah. I should have joined earlier because some of these posts are really helpful.

Someone mentioned that my parents are "chill." lol They're not! They're ok in some sense and not in others. I was not allowed to ever talk to anyone. Male or female. Yes, it was school and straight back home. Even when I wanted to introduce a girl to them, they'd say no. I wasn't allowed to use the phone. It was prison. My older brother however was allowed to do anything and everything.

That squirrel video is too cute and I love the song. And thanks Saif for that "Dare" video. I love it!!

But, but, but, I came up with the idea, can't I be brain?  Cry

Sorry to hear about your situation, must be horrible not being able to do anything. If you don't mind, could you tell me how you made agree to letting you go live in away? I don'y mind if you don't want to answer, of course.

Hey DarkEye! My parents (well my mum mostly) dont let me do much, I'm always stuck at home whenever I visit them. I got my true taste of freedom when I left uni.

    Welcome to the forum!

Same here! I got a real taste of freedom when I left for Uni too. Which was so hard to convince them but luckily it just worked out. I got a scholarship that paid half of my dorm. I want to become as independent as possible and just because my family pays for everything for me, they think they can make my choices. I'm not a child anymore but... yeah anyways. It took days and days to convince them.

When I'm independent, I really want to make one of those. Just a little house where ex-Muslims can come and live if they need it till they can do it on their own.

I've got a  long way to go though, have actually leave first.

for me, I'm the only one here who came from Indo, if there's another Indonesian here I most probably would meet him/her, and if I'm going to any of your country, I'll definitely will try to contact some of you
