I don't think Argentina will make it past Germany :(

I don't have enough faith forgive me El Diego  Embarrassed

I hope they don't, but come on... they're Argentina!

Argentina will beat Germany. The German side is not that good. They have had poor opposition so far - and yes, that includes England. The Argentinians are more skillful and more experienced.

argentina have a terrible defense and no plan b. I shudder to think what diego would do if messi got injured.

Has this been a good world cup so far in your opinion guys?

Nah, but i  hope this means we are in for some fantastic games at the business end of the tournament

Very good article on why the English football system, rather than the manager, caused England's doom at the World Cup:

How weird is it today.  There's no football on!  I'm gonna watch some highlights from previous games.

Lol.  Do you have a gif of Ronaldo spitting towards the cameraman at the end of the match?

I am awfully disappointed he didn't cry.

I hope Ghana get to the semis, better yet imagine Ghana in the final - the whole of Afrrica would go nuts - and pele would die a happy man.

Yeah it's interesting how the bookies think sometimes ... or what they do ... England were placed 4th at the start, and I cyncially think this was to attract hyped up fans to bet on them. I haven't watched all of Spain's games to judge.

Actually... nobody here in Holland thinks it's a "wonder" we got so far... =P
I can't even remember the last time we lost a game or played tied! XD

Brazil will be a difficult one though.

They're ranked 2nd in the World by official FIFA rankings. Completely objective. I don't know how that's changed during the course of these World Cup finals but my guess is they've only improved.

Holland are on an 23-game unbeaten streak, so the momentum is with them but on the other hand Brazil's attack/counter-attack has been excellent thus far, and they have managed to rip defences apart with their style. However, I still feel Brazil's defence is vunerable especially when they push up wit their side backs - hopefully Holland try to capitalise on that.

I got Holland winning narrowly via counter-attacking style, maybe 3-2?

It will be a fun match. Don't miss it.
