    Is that an American idiom?

In the US school buses are yellow. In many communities, the retarded, disabled, and special needs kids ride on a short bus with a flashing white light on top. This has led to the term "short bus" often being used in the US as a joking reference to being retarded.

    fuck you

Thanks. What's the flashing light for ?

I guess to indicate the kids on the bus are retarded or disabled. Beats me. Ask BlackDog, he probably asked his bus driver why at some point.

    fuck you

We're all just glad the short bus didn't crash while you were in it.

They have short buses in other countries?

With you driving how could it not happen.

Why I gotta take short bus and little brother takes long bus?

    Why my seat so sticky?

Why my seat friend touching me in danger area?

Why it feels like rain in my pants?

These and many similar questions have all been asked at one point and one answer has been the default for all of them. A short gruff and a sharp smack to the face.

You're a great driver Q just not very good with kids.

     Cheesy nice one.

BTW, BD you failed at saving it. Failed miserably. If anything the driver of the short bus should be more experienced, disciplined, and physically more capable.   Wink

USA started off poor but after that fluke goal (the goal wasn't amazingly played by USA, it's just that the keeper made a shite attempt) they gained ground and played quite well.

I don't know shit about soccer, but I do know the US team certainly looked like they wanted it more.

Not really mate. A fluke goal gave you the draw. England controlled the game and had more shots on goal. The problem was, apart from the goalkeepers disaster, that we didn't take our opportunities, and only two players, Gerrard and Johnson really turned it on.

The USA is a decent team. Seven of them either play in or have played in the Premier League. So they are intimately familiar with England and weren't daunted. Well done to them. I think we'll both qualify for the next round.

I liked the way the blonde Slovenian women celebrated when they scored so I say good for them.

England should beat both these teams fairly easily.

Shit...I should have tried to see the final 20 odd minutes of the game. This is Slovenia's first ever World Cup win, and two of my good friends from university are Slovenes who were very keen on this World Cup.  Smiley

Iraq beat the Australia 4 times out of 5 matches in the last 4 years. It should be a piece of cake for the Germans.

USA schooled them 3-1 in the friendlies before this World Cup. I think Germany have enough quality (Ozil, Lahm, Schweinsteiger et al.) to overcome Australia.

Yeah I know Germany will probably beat them, I just want to see what they look like, how they play, as one of the traditionally biggest sides of the WC. Most curious to see Italy, Brazil and Spain too.

    Sorry Naerys  Cry

    You won't have to :/

Oh God this sucks so hard. It was very comical because the moment it was announced that Ghezzal was getting in everyone groaned and went 'that's it, we're screwed'. Holy shit what a moron. I know you people were bored to tears but it was our best game in months. Shit.

Hey fuck you Arabic is official language here! Doesn't it count for anything?

Also we eliminated Egypt. That too should count!
