That was just so, so, so sad.  mysmilie_977  Feel really sorry for Asamoah Gyan.

    Suarez, you fucking cheating bastard!

Paid off quite well for him didn't it?

Hahaha. I'm still amazed that Ghana even made it that far. What did people expect, that they win the cup?

Suarez put his country before his own pride and dignity.  After getting sent off, did you see him celebrating when Asamoah Gyan missed the penalty?

I think everyone wants Holland to convincingly beat Uruguay now.

Since England got knocked out I've been rooting for Holland.  They're kinda my 2nd team.  Go Holland!  I also like to see an underdog do well too.  Was hoping Japan or Ghana would reach the semi's but that wasn't to be.

Being shown the red card for what he did is too lenient. I hope FIFA enforce some disciplinary action against Suarez... What he did was clearly anti-football. Maybe he'll have a better future as a goalkeeper instead...

I always like to root for the underdog, but after doing what they did to Ghana tonight, I don't want them to reach the final (so I'll be rooting for Holland over Uruguay). And in the final I'd definitely rather Holland won than Argentina, Germany of Spain. Them winning would just be boring.

Suarez did wrong thing for football but right thing for his team. And his loyalty is to Uruguay bear in mind.

Dunno about you but I'd feel slightly shit right now if I was Uruguayan. Knowing I only made it through to the semis because we cheated.

I'd be pretty proud if I were Uruguayan.

Ultimate self-sacrifice by Suarez, who knew that he would be sent-off for the hand ball and will miss the semi-final if his team did go through. Anything that would delay the otherwise inevitable. Gyan missed, penalties, Ghana missed again. Uruguay through. Its against the rules, and he got his dues served.

Suarez - Uruguay's main goalscorer - handled the ball, and he got punished for it and will miss the semi-final.

This reminds me of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer:

Argentina's players seem to be high.

The Germans are great though. Well-deserved.

But I'm still rooting for Spain and Holland.

great stuff from the Germans. they've made it to at least the semis in 11 of the last 15 world cups apparently!! must be german efficiency or some some shit.

still feel a little bummed out about Ghana.

the fallacy of club football has been exposed...if you cant perform at World Cup ...your not worth calling a "world champion footballer" no matter how many league titles and champions league medals you win!
