I had come to know a group of Pakistanis at the school where I went to in the US... they all (more than 5 of them) had scholarships from the Pakistani government.

I'm presuming the Pakistani scholarship program is still open? Why don't you apply?

    EDIT:
I just checked it, it's still open. What I remember is they (my Pakistani friends) applied to the Fulbright program. They told me that the Pakistani government had Fulbright manage their scholsrship program for them... So you apply to Fulbright, but the fact is, it is the Pakistani government who's paying for the tuition/monthly stipends (although on the face of it, it appears as if Fulbright is who's paying everything).

I havent done GRE yet, and the Fullbright Scholarship is only given out on the condition that I return to Pakistan as soon as my PhD finishes.

I aint coming back. I dont want to come back...

I would love to meet all of y'all British Ex-Muslims some day. I understand I am not near enough within the "circle of trust" yet, but some day... I guess I could be an undercover Muslim who might pull a beheading on you "APOSTATE BASTARDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD"

Shit now I just scared myself.

There's actually a Barney Muhammad in the Nation of Islam. Personally if I was in the Nation I'd change my name to Reginald Muhammad though I must say Messrs Muhammad Gomez and Goldstein are cool too.
