    Being serious for a moment - when I was a Muslim I never ever ever considered Shi'ah kafir and couldn't stand those wankers who were so partisan and biased against one or the other.

    In fact most Muslims I knew felt that way (i.e. they had no problem at all whether you were sunni or shia)

    No disrespect - but those few I knew who were extremely sectarian were dickheads!

    I have to admit, I was one of those people who considered the Shi'ah to be FILTHY DISBELIEVERS. I used to go around to chatrooms on the internet when I was 14 and pretty much demolish the Shi'as in debate(I'm not even being pompous here, they were reduced to YOU ARE A KID GO OUTSIDE after a discussion) which fuelled my assholishness towards them.

    It's one of those things that stuck with me for a while, even as I became a more liberal muslim I'd still refuse friendships with those who were Shi'ah.

    So no offense taken Hassan! They are dickheads!
