    The tap. It keep dripping and dripping and dripping. Have gotten it fixed three times now, but apparently I tighten it too hard when I turn it off.

    They make squishy washers these days. You don't have to turn them off hard at all.

    The problem is I don't know how to NOT turn it off hard, it's just a thing I do. When people come to visit they complain 'cause they find it hard to turn the tap on.  Cheesy

    Getting spam mail. I've tried blocking and blocking and blocking, nothing seems to work. I still get more.

    I also hate junk mail in the letter box. So friggin annoying. Had a NO JUNK MAIL sticker on it for a long time which meant that I got less of it, but someone peeled it off, and now I'm getting junk mail again. They don't even put it in properly, which means that when the mail-man comes sometimes he finds it very hard to stick letters in my mail-box.

    ^ Tmp, can you teach me how? I KEEP telling Gmail that a certain email is spam, some stupid thing for hdfcbank which I've never heard of, and it STILL comes to my inbox.

    Junk mail in the regular mailbox?  Fun thing to do with it if it comes with a postage paid envelope just put it in the envelopes without feeling anything out and send it back. Also just put it in trash don't worry about it. You only have.  so much energy only fight the battles you can win. The others you have to let go or you'll make yourself crazy.

    Hotmail has got automatic junkmail delete.

    I've tried everything I can think of Lynna, and it's not in my junk-mail it goes straight into my inbox. Even my IT friend had a look at it for me and tried various things but still couldn't stop them from sending me their fucking spam.  finmad

    Gmail automatically filters spam, but if you keep getting this HDFCBank spam in your inbox you can either click the unsubscribe link if there is one on the bottom of the e-mail or you can create a filter that automatically deletes it https://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=6579&topic=1669016&ctx=topic#1.

    I just logged into Hotmail and apparently it has filtering options too. You can  create rules to filter out spam from your inbox if it's coming from similar names/e-mail addresses.

    Just click "Sweep" and Manage rules and "New" and enter in the details:




    PS I noticed a lot of spam mail in my old Hotmail inbox too. If possible, you should convert to Gmail.  grin12

    If you did everything Tmp suggested to set up the sweep files and stuff and you've  unsubscribed from the actual sender. Then if you keep getting email from them send then an email that you will consider any further email from them them harassment and you will act accordingly. Save that letter and act if need be. That's what I have done. I hardly get any spam or junk mail.

    Correction on any given day about 10 to 50 things go straight to my delete file.

    I deal with this problem by telling myself I must have been drunk when I made that post. Does run into some difficulty in convincing myself that I've been drunk everyday of every week for quite a while now, but better than the alternative.  grin12
