or buddhism, hinduism etc so in this case it has little to do with Islam being dangerous
This is the second such BBC Panorama prog investigating Scientology on the basis of it per se being a "dangerous" and "sinister" cult. The BBC would never brazenly suggest the same to a Muslim interviewee with respect to Islam. That's the fact of the matter.
You see DH your criticism is totally biased,
In what way?
and you waterdown our own arguments against Islam on this site by going over the top & calling Islam with arguments its not always entirely guilty off.
Of what, exactly, have I accused Islam that it is not guilty of? That it is a cult? Admittedly the distinction between "relgion" and "cult" is somewhat spurious but the distinction is made and Islam per se displays more than enough of the featues to qualify it for the latter category as the term is commonly used. For instance cults are notorious for harassing, threatening even killing those who leave them - an undeniable feature of Islam from its earliest beginnings which it has failed to shed with the passage of time. Not all Muslims actively take part in such activities. So what? Most members of Scientology don't. It is however a feature of the Church of Scientology that marks it out as a cult.
All you end up making exmuslims on this site do is defend Islam,
I'm not "making" anybody here do anything.
(having said that they have had plenty of exposees and programmes such as dispatches & undercover mosque etc. - you conveniently missed them I guess)
These programs were not put on by the BBC which has a manifest policy of steering clear of such output because of its potential to feed "negative perceptions of Islam" which it clearly sees as its primary duty to counter.
