A guy named tudungsenduk has commented on my video that in saying to protect your farj the Quran means "keep your distance". His argument is essentially
1: When Muslims pray together they keep close their farj.
2: Men do not have gaps, so it would make no sense to call a man's penis a farj.
3: "feehi" in 66:12 means that Allah blew into her (miriam) not her farj, just as when Allah breathed life into Adam.
My immediate counter argument is that feehi means "in it". If it follows a person then it refers to that person, otherwise it refers to the object which was previously named. For example 2:2 says al kitaabu Laa rayda feehi which means the book no doubt IN IT.
In addition.
21:91 says that Allah blew into HER because it says feeHA, 66:12 says how Allah did it because it mentions Miriam's farj and then says Allah blew into IT (feehi).
66:12 mentions Miriam's farj and then Allah blows feehi, showing that her farj is an object.
I hope I have that right? Would be good to see an Arabic speaker's response on it to strengthen my case. The link is
herelol I give that guy 10 out of 10 and a gold star for creativeness. It just goes to show how one can make what is a relatively straightforward sentence mean whatever you like
Your reply is quite right, plus where on earth does أحصن الفرج ever mean "Keep your distance!" - it's just plain stupid - but like I say, I got tip my hat to the guy for his lateral thinking
I'm going to piss you off now - but you know the more I look at these two verses: 21:91 and 66:12 - the more I think it may actually simply be a grammatical error.
Here, look:
I think either Muhammad or the scribe made a mistake putting
فِيهِ in the second verse instead of
فِيهَا . In other words it is talking about blowing into Maryam as the first verse says, but someone simply made a mistake.
Well it's a strong possibility imho anyhooo - sorry mate lol
