I watched the video by Ishina. As I have confessed before - I have no clue about politics of Englands. So are we blaming the youths for being stupid and angry with muslims or what? As far as I can remember majority of English youth has always been stupid and mad. The question is "why"? I found one theory on youtube:

Yeah it was joke. I clearly don't think that british chicks is the main reason for radicalizing EDLs underage wing. What are the other reasons?Btw, what was the name of that thread, you promised me a reply?

    Done. Apology included.

As I have no idea what EDL is all about, I will take your common sense answer and accept it to be true until I have evidence proving otherwise. Not that I am inviting people to shed some light on the issue.

    @Ishina

A gripping doc. Where have I seen that darky before? He looks like a man with whom I had a romantic entanglement. Well not quite, it was purely physical. The way he wrapped his lips around my wrinkled twelve inch member was mind blowing. I think it displays the conflicting drives of the EDL, its aspiration to be an inclusionary mass movement that defies the taunts of the soi-distant anti-fascists colliding with the reality of its preponderantly white membership, some of whom you wouldn't have at your dinner table.

For real. Surely that token Asian mascot is conclusive proof of EDL tolerance. I mean, they have coloureds join them on their marches. No greater display of unity and tolerance has ever met my romantic eyes. It warms my heart. And he’s such a sweet little thing with such a kind face, and so down to earth too. I definitely want to have a drink with that guy.

Well, well, well, what do we have here…

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aB-QJUVQD9U

Our friend Abdul showing his true colour as no less than a sectarian loyalist himself, singing death mantra to those filthy Taigs. “You stick your right hand out and you punch a Taig about, you kneecap the bastard when you get him down, that’s what it’s all about!” Altogether now… “Ohhh, bruise the bastards body! Ohhh, bruise the bastards body!”

Is this the real reason our friend Abdul is the darling of the EDL?

More importantly, why didn’t the BBC show that footage on their fair and balanced documentary? Could it be that the EDL are two faced double-dealing sacks of shit and it takes phonecam leaks and amateur investigation to paint a more revealing picture of them?

Now look at this striking image:

Voila! In view, humble vaudevillian veterans, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. This valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.

Masked vigilante heroes burning the Nazi flag, and burning their intentions onto my retina. This shows they mean business, and that business is stamping out Fascist scum. A dirty job, but someone’s gotta do it. A cause so close to all of our hearts, all honourable men and women, common and noble alike, who heed the lessons of history. Dark knights, fighting the good fight, so that we may sleep safe and sound in bed at night. Who wouldn't cheer the burning of a swastika? Of all the flags to burn, they chose the correct one.

But wait… what is this? I spy with my little eye, something beginning with… S

Oh look, there is EDL leader Stephen Yaxley-Lennon and friends - violent race-hate criminal, Holocaust denier and senior BNP and National Front official Richard Edmonds, and John Pater - formerly of an openly Nazi group called the November 9th Society. No mask this time.

    Fun Facts:

Richard Edmonds published an extreme right-wing magazine called Holocaust News, which pretended Hitler never gassed Jews, gypsies, gays and disabled people in concentration camps, and is the person who famously admitted on TV that the BNP are "100% Racist".
    …..

The Nov 9th Society is also known (ironically) as the British First Party, but takes the Nov 9th name from the date of Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler's failed Beer Hall Putsch at Feldherrnhalle, where 16 Nazi’s died.
    …..

Despite what the EDL say about how immigrants should respect British laws, Stephen Yaxley-Lennon has been investigated for money laundering and was jailed for attacking a police officer who tried to stop Yaxley-Lennon beating up his own girlfriend.
    …..

Stephen Yaxley-Lennon told the EDL's disastrous Amsterdam rally that the EDL are "not hooligans", despite his own nickname being stolen from a notorious Luton Town football hooligan called Tommy Robinson.
    …..

I bet this Stephen “Tommy Robinson” Yaxley-Lennon fellow has a few skeletons in his closet…

Tell me honestly, if you had not already read their mission statement, what would you make of them? What would you say their agenda was?

    Interesting analysis MAB.

Wider public sometimes loves to hate certain groups - this is even more true when it comes to news pundits or even certain media who positively desire to locate racism in a certain group in order to say that 'we' are not like that, we are beyond racism - look the racists are over there. This in turn obfuscates and renders invisible wider issues of racism and chauvinism in the general public. What nobody ever does is offer concrete solutions for the very real problems.

Btw are you familiar with Big Brother and Jade Goody story?

Who cares about Gerry Gable? Is he marching a thousand strong army through the cities of England? Is he jackbooting peaceful Muslim communities who mind their own buisness? Who cares who founded Searchlight? I knew this stuff before you even compelled me to trawl the quagmire of the internet for shit to spoon feed you. It’s common knowledge for anyone with an ear to the ground. That was the first source I found at short notice and those articles summed things up nicely, and from there I threw a few extra links in for good measure. Don’t say I never do you favours. But shit, MAB, you can find this intermittently on the EDL’s own Facebook page even. The Facebook pages are run by those sorts of people. This is the shit they boast about in the pub. This is the shit that makes them squirm on Newsnight or whichever TV show they are embarassing themselves on this month. This is the shit that lights up little DH's eyes and makes him shoot his goo.

Bottom line: I’m not gonna do the work for you. I’m not bothered if you denounce the Extremist Defence League right now and return to sanity, or if you continue to cheerlead them like a knicker-wetting schoolgirl at a Westlife concert. I’m past caring. You’re not a naughty puppy who needs housetraining. I’m not going to rub your nose in the little puddle you made on the carpet. For all I know, you might just be being contrary for the sake of it, or maybe you just like the neat clicky sound your keyboard makes. If I was interested in wasting more energy on the EDL, I’d go a few more rounds with you and let you play Devil's advocate or whatever the fuck you’re doing. But I’m not. Libya is burning, Mother Nature is pissed at the Land of Oz, Lady Gaga is in the charts, and I have a hangover. I have more pertinent things to expend energy on. As much as I like having you around to poke occasionally, you’ll have to forgive me if I love you and leave you again. I've taken some money for the taxi home by the way. Maybe someone else will play with you. I’ve served my time. Honestly MAB, there are more honourable battles for you to fight and better bedfellows for you to choose. The fact that DH is agreeing with you should give you cause for concern anyway.

Too fucking busy, and vice versa.

I watched almost 3 min of the video. So was the whole problem making fun of Sh. Shetty's accent? I just can't believe people in the video being so serious about it. Have I been out of Europe for too long?
