No, that is if Windes lose to India, either way, we are in the semi finals England are hardly a threat most of the England team has gone home, England lost to Bangladesh and barely qualified. Windes are not that good either, Pakistan are in the best position right now, since some of the big teams will get knocked out and Pakistan have a easy match with Windes or England.

I think possibility, Pakistan will face, either SA, India or Aussies in the final.

And Pakistan is hastily moving in for the kill - they are 81/0 after 14 overs. Tomorrow will be an epic battle, India vs Australia, thinking Aus might take it.

(Reuters) - Imran Khan will be supporting India against Australia in their World Cup showdown on Thursday because he believes a semi-final against Pakistan will capture the sporting world's imagination.

"I want India and Pakistan to play the semi-final. Because it would be a great advertisement for cricket and I think it will go in our favour," former Pakistan captain Imran told Geo Super channel after Pakistan beat the West Indies by 10 wickets on Wednesday.

"Our team remain the under-dogs, India have been rated as favourites from the start. And I think the pressure of playing in front of their home crowd and the fear of losing to us would add that much extra pressure on the Indians and benefit our team."

Aphrodite, that makes sense I think under pressure of playing in-front of home cowed, could make India implode. Moreover I think the have more of a chance of beating India then the Aussies. India does not have good bowling, if India bat first and don't make more then 300 I think Pakistan can win, India can pretty much chase down any score. But have a weak bowling lineup.

    ^agreed.

A pakistan india semi would be a dream, well a final would be a better one, but ill take what I can get.

Need revenge for the 1999 super six stage when India won, and Pakistan went on to play final with the Aussies. There was a war going on while that match was being played, the Kargil War, to passions were running high.

^ That is pretty much my first world cup I can recall Pakistan playing, after that I was interested in cricket, I was about 16 at the time. And I remember *oh no I just remembered about my ex* :-( yeah my ex was chatting to me while that match was being played, she was abit of a psycho though when we broke up she used to ring up my house phone and play Indian music down the line and tell my mom she wanted to marry me. lol

Oh I remember that.  Ajay Jadeja pwned Waqar Younis, and Javed Miandad really slowed the run rate of Pakistan who were chasing.

The pressure will be on India to perform in front of their home crowd and to reach the final because they were the overwhelming favorites before the tournament started.

Do you not remember 1996 world cup? How crowd threatened Pakistani team in the quarter final? And then how they threw objects on Sri Lankan team?

I know I should probably wait till Saturday before saying this, but COME ON ENGLAND!!!

By far the most entertaining team in the World Cup so far. But on a good day, no team is too good for England, no total is too low to defend, no amount of runs are too much to chase down...COME ON ENGLAND.

1st WC I watched was the 2003 WC when neither Pakistan or England made it to the super six's. 2007 was another flop for both sides so I'm really enjoying this WC!  grin12
