Tamil Tigers organization is a multi-million dollar organization whos reach stretched all over Asia. There was a war going on in Sri Lanka with the Tamil Tigers at the time of the shooting incident, why overlook the Tamil Tigers when they clearly are high suspects. As Tamil Tigers reach is all over Asia, why couldnt they pay Pakistanis to carry out the attack? Some poor Pakistanis out there that will kill for a small amount even. If you ever been in Pakistan you will what am talking about.....Police are corrupt with brides and easily bought out.
So your basically saying Pakistani Taliban carried out the attack, right? The attack was very amateurish, Pakistan is a wash with weapons, they had Ak47's, grenades that failed to explode and a RPG rocket propelled grenade, and what damage did they do? Few police officers died, just a few injured....failed attack.
The various Islamic Rebels in Pakistan are alot more sophisticated then that, you just need to look at their operational videos to see that. All they needed to do is RPG the bus and sprayed a few rounds on the bus...job done...could have killed the whole squad, so we see how amateur the attack was. Pakistani minister, Sardar Nabil Ahmed Gabol, reportedly told private Geo TV that evidence suggested the attackers came across the border from India. Who benefited most from the attack? Who is trying to bring Pakistan to a complete failed state? Look at the bigger picture. Why does the blame always land on "Islamic terrorists"? Before even a full investigation begun, people and the media already jump to conclusions and point the finger at the same direction without any evidence.
The Tamils will not be sticking out like a sore thumb in Lahore, they are not Westerners, Indians can pretty much integrate into Lahore. Do not be narrow minded.
There you go again, lets point our fingers at the Muslim terrorists......Where do you get your information from? Fox news? CNN? Sky news?
Asif Ali Zardari : Benazir Bhutto's husband: "I blame the government for these blasts. It is the work of the intelligence agencies."
In the immediate aftermath of the attempt on her life, Bhutto wrote a letter to General Pervez Musharraf naming four persons whom she suspected of engineering the attacks. Careful not to name Musharraf himself, she chose to name senior military officials and politicians in Musharraf's regime instead, including Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, a rival PML-Q politician and the then chief minister of the province of Punjab, Hamid Gul, former director of the Inter-Services Intelligence agency, and Ijaz Shah, director general of the Intelligence Bureau, another premier military intelligence agency on Pakistan.
Musharraf's regime blamed terrorist organizations such as Al-Qaeda and elements of the Taliban in Pakistan instead, but Pakistan's primary Islamic and terrorist organizations did not accept responsibility for the assassination attempt.
President Pervez Musharraf called the attacks a "conspiracy against democracy"
Everyone seems to be pointing their fingers in many directions? Who has claim? You jump on the media bandwagon like a sheep, Baaa Baaaa
Hmm, the Islamabad Marriott Hotel Bombing.....bares are the hallmarks of Al Qaeda right? Remind you it was first the CIA to teach The Mujahideen in Afghanistan how to make carbombs.
Possible perpetrators
"An American intelligence official stated that the attack "bears all the hallmarks of a terrorist operation carried out by Al Qaeda or its associates."
A Taliban spokesperson denied the group's involvement in the blast, saying they "do not believe in killing so many locals."
Many people are of the view that a foreign power is involved in the attacks in some way
Claims of US soldiers breaching security
An MP for the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party, Syed Mumtaz Alam Gillani, has come forward with testimony evidencing a purportedly serious security breach at the Marriott on the night between the 16th and 17th, several days before the bombing. Alam Gillani and two friends are said to have witnessed several large steel boxes being unloaded from a US Embassy truck by a group of US Marines and, according to someone at the hotel, transported to the fourth and fifth floors. Among the several people who witnessed this incident was Pakistan Peoples Party leader Sajjad Chaudhry. However, Alam Gilani was the only one who objected to and protested the apparent security breach taking place, but was met with silence from the American Marines. The hotel security staff did not respond to Alam Gilani's protests as they passively watched what was taking place, not being allowed to go near the boxes by the US Marines. Alam Gillani has since denounced the newspaper account, asserting that he was merely making light conversation with the journalist, however, the newspaper stands by its account. Pakistani authorities are also investigating this issue.
The American Embassy has said that it routinely rents rooms at the Marriott. Confronted with the activities of the US Marines on the night between September 16 and 17, embassy spokesperson Lou Fintor stated: "A team of support personnel often and routinely precede and/or accompany certain US government officials. They often carry communication and office equipment required to support large delegations, such as high-level administration officials and members of the US Congress." However, the incident occurred after Admiral Mullen's departure.
Many players in Pakistan from within and outsiders. You can not pin point who is doing what, who is associated with who...its a very dirty game.
Btw, You didnt mention Benazir Bhuttos assassination...Pakistani Taliban killed her too?
She should have stayed put in a her big mansion in UAE with the money she stole, her coming back just made things alot worse and we wouldnt have her puppet husband in power.
Her own educated niece Fatima Bhutto puts it right, "She insisted on this grand show, she bears a responsibility for these deaths and for these injuries."
