    Back when i was with my ex gf she took off her hejab and dressed in red and black. When she dumped me for some pakistani hardcore muslim who claims to be the best muslim ever, she went back to the hejab. Ironically how are they the best muslims if they can't grasp that having a relationship before marriage is haram anyway.  Cheesy She used to think that having sex before marriage is cool and now she changed her mind and wants to marry this freak. I asked her why she keeps the hejab and she says because it's "one less haram thing for me." what a joke lol.

    Yea I don;t get that.

    Never ever did I think I could wear a hijab and be with a guy and not be married, that just isn't something I felt was appropriate.

    Then again, muslims are stuck and trapped in a religion and so often people are mindless sheep that don't see other ways out until they are shown.

    Think of all the studies on conformity, obedience, compliance etc, and often the participants who showed signs of obedience and conformity etc, claimed that the reason they went along with the rules was because they didn;t see another way.

    I think the findings were IIRC that once you add a rebellious element into the mix, people begind to rebel as well, conformity and obediece is reduced.

    That is where we came in, and I guess where Islam is actually correct.  One ex muslim causing fitna is enough to make other ex muslims, which is why we are supposed to die.

    The reason I mention this is because it is applicable here.  This ex of yours still doesn;t see any other way, and is simply trying to live some kind of life under the restrictive rules she has ben raised with.  She is most likely just one huge bag of mixed up contradictions and hypocrisy as she undoubtably wants more freedom, but feels she can not have it.

    These people need a nudge.  It might not always work, but sometimes the rebellious element is an influence on them, and gives them an alternative viewpoint.

    Infact I would say with the influx of ex muslims arriving here, and the beginning of so many new sects in Islam, that reject hadiths and try to modernise their beliefs, are signs that rebellion is constant in Islam.

    your absolutely right, one of the first things that made me think about Islam was its inequality to the ladies. In addition to that how could a perfect religion have "denominations." You'd think that if this was the absolute perfect religion of god, that we wouldn't have freaking Shia's and Sunni's and Durzi's and any other number of denominations disagreeing on shit. Also one of the things that didn't make sense to me as a muslim is that God seems to always choose one retard to send his message to. Why the hell would god choose an illiterate dude in the middle of the desert lol. Most likely he wasn't illiterate at all and even if he was he most likely had his home boys helping him out with that.  bunny

    I agree with your ex. Sex before marriage is NOT cool. Any girl who sleeps with a man before marriage won't last very long. Guys do not like easy meat or women who have no self worth. Why would you want to sleep with a guy before marriage anyway? I'm glad for your ex gf that she has come back to her senses.

    Are you tripping? What about all the non-virgins who have never been married as such and are getting on just fine? Doesn't make a damned bit of difference to me whether a woman has had sex outside of marriage. Most of the women I know fall into that category.

    Um, because as a human you like sex. Why should I have to wait until I get married? What if I never get married?! How fair is that? Why do married people have a sexual privilege that I'm not allowed? Don't you see how messed up that is? Simply because I couldn't find someone I like enough to marry?

    I don't have to wait for anything, because there are no guarantees in life - and that certainly applies to relationships. What if I don't get married until I'm in my late 30s? I'm not gonna wait all that time to have sex.  Roll Eyes By that point, I may not even have as much of a sex drive as when I was younger. But of course if you're a slave to god I can see how you wouldn't think there's a problem with this.

    I heard from many people when I was visiting Pakistan that a scholar from the West had named Prop. Muhammad as the Most Intelligent Historical Figure. It was hearsay and as a child I just believed it naturally. But I cannot find any sources to back that up.
