     OP - July 23, 2011, 12:04 AM

I had these two ramadan thread in my brain, although I didn't quiet follow most of the comments, but this thing came to my  mind. Do you think we should do some pranks on muslims? Online and offline?

    Any ideas??

Disclaimer: Any prank you try from the suggested, make sure you do not do anything illegal in your area.

Definitely NO,  just because we are not Muslims, it doesn't mean we should disrespect them or disrespect their tradition.
This would be way out of order.

    Keep it coming guys!

Fara, I know why you are saying this. Its because you are new x-muslim.. It takes a long time to settle down after the trauma of quitting islam..

Give your parents vodka at iftar time and tell em its zam zam  Afro

I would advise against that as zam zam has high levels of arsenic and other carcinogenic materials. and for me it would be hard pulling a Prank as you can get arrested for not fasting over here

That's a good one, but not a prank so much as a mind-fuck.

Don't presume to know the reason. Maybe she just isn't the type to go around pranking people just because they hold different beliefs than her.

I'm not really a new x muslim. (Newish) and I am fairly comfortable with who I am. I still dont think I'd pull any pranks.

Just like I wouldnt pull pranks on any other religious day.

Course a classic prank would be if someone says what time is such and such prayer? (this would only work for Zhur or Asr and if they are trying to pray right after the adhan) then you could tell them 15-20 minutes earlier than it actually is, then say oops sorry after the finish. If they are a good muslim they will repeat the prayer Cheesy

I wish parents everywhere could remove their veil of religion and see their kids for whom they actually are.

    Another idea!

Write something like this on a muslim forum:

I was fasting, but at lunch time, I ended up at KFC and ate a full meal, and then just remembered I was fasting. Did my fast break?

Now other muslims would go up and down to explain to you that it didn't break because you did it unintentionally. Anyways, you can keep showing your guilt, while throwing as many food names as possible in the conversation.

I have another idea. Why not troll muslim forums making up some trollish rituals.
For example things like, it is not only sunnat to break the fast with a date but our prophet used to eat coconut after that.
Eating coconuts has so and so advantages.. (just make up bullshit like it helps bring noorani glow on the face)
or something like he ate pomegranate, which medical science have proved that it is a cure for over 100 diseases.

Lets see how many subhanallah do you get.. Tongue

Yeah, no, this is kind of a mean-spirited thing to do. You can recognize and be happy about the fact that you're no longer Muslim but don't be a dick about it.

I'm not really getting what the misunderstanding is. If you were to actually do these things, it'd be inconsiderate, intolerant, and counterproductive.

+1. Why bother?, if i can eat in front of a muslim without him saying anything. Its enough for me.

Fasting is highly productive.. Isn't it?
