    arsenal are going to struggle to maintain their top 4 position if cesc and nasri aren't replaced.

    i think what might count in our favour is that we've always had strength in depth in midfield - wilshere, Ramsey, Song, arshavin rosicky, diaby, walcott - all top quality players. we need to reinvest that money on our defence - a centre back and a left back, with the 50+ mil we get from cesc and nasri we should get the best available to us - but will wenger spend big? doubt it.

    I am also looking forward to a midfield of Wilshere and Ramsay. However, Nasri and Cesc are difficult to replace.

    I also wonder where Nasri will fit into a Man City team. Balotelli, Tevez, Aguero, Dzeko, Silva, Toure already occupy all the attacking any team needs.

    That means nothing. A long season is an entirely different kettle of fish.

    Not that I care tho - frankly I hope United prove me wrong.

    The only important thing is that Arsenal have a crap season and we (Spurs) finish above them.

    rumours going around that Tevez might be included in a swap deal for Nasri. if this is on the cards, then we'd probably have to put another 20 million into that deal. that should leave us with 15 million from the cesc deal and that can be spent on jagielka. sorted. this is easy.

     As a gunner, im pessimistic of Arsenal chances and lost my belief in wenger since the time Arsenal lost against Liverpool in a CL quarter-final( 2 seasons ago i think, the one that theo walcott made an amazing run and scored,undeserving penalty awarded against Arsenal and babel scoring the last goal). I was pissed that night. Also im not surprised that Fabregas is leaving for Barca and i will be gutted if Nasri leaves. The only thing positive about Arsenal for me is the emergence of Jack Wilshere, An English local player which is what Arsenal need.

    Anyway Gunner's for life :yayy:

    Man Utd

    Man U is a team I hate because they are so good

    I suspect another mid table placing for the team I support, some things will never change, Hope Moyes makes some good signings and play guys in the right positions, but we've done well with our budget, here is another uneventful season for the Toffee supporters Smiley

    Meh. Chelsea had won the opening game 9 years on the trot, so I guess that run was bound to end soon. Still, Torres looked super sharp at least.

    Utd need a new creative midfielder. I don't think Cleverley's going to cut it this season, he has potential but lacks the experience necessary for a regular first team place. De Gea looked really shaky today. During the latter stages of today's match, the WBA players realised that they could unsettle him by physically challenging him in the air - and it worked to a certain extent. I wonder if other teams are going to try and take this approach towards him. If so, he better get used to the physicality of the premier league.
