Season 4 goes on Netflix here on Sunday.  I'm going to marathon it then head down to the local theater with some rum and coke and watch Season 5 premier.

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

White Collar is a good popcorn show.  Flows good, don't expect too much out of it and you'll enjoy it

I just registered to watch the Breaking Bad Season 5 premiere for free. it was supposed to be for Dish customers only, but they can't verify that so I'll be watching it for free. The link for registration is at  http://www.amctv.com/breakingbad4dish.

Watched the free live stream last night. It was good quality, didn't lag, and was reliable.

I spent much of the weekend discovering "Breaking Bad". This show is quite possibly the best show I have ever seen!

It reminds me a lot of the Wire, though I think it is waaaay better than the Wire. I watched the whole of season 1 and just started season 2.

That part where Walt goes meets Tuco and (edited out for spoiler)! I literally jumped out of my seat, fist punched the air, and shouted "YESSSS!"

Breaking Bad and The Wire are both awesome shows.  Afro I highly recommend both.

I just finished watching season 3 of Justified. A solid 8/10 show for me, I'd definitely recommend you guys to give it a go.

Timothy Olyphant has so much swag.

I think I'm going to give Friday Night Lights and Suits a go next.

    Burn the blasphemer.

First episode was good. I'm totally rooting for Hank this season, though.

I don't know if this has been put up yet, or even if I previously mentioned it, but I love the Sopranos. Awesome fucking show. I watched the whole box set almost a year ago (borrowed it off my neighbour) and am watching it again. I love the drama in it, love the fucked up-ness of it, loved the crazy families, all the different shades of grey - no person in the show is shown as completely black or white, every person has their story and you get to see the different aspects of each person. Makes it really hard to hate any particular character, which I like 'cause that's what life is like, even scum bags arsehole monsters aren't completely evil.  Tongue

The only thing that gutted me when I first watched it, was when Adriana died. I was soooo mad when they whacked Adriana, I could identify so much with her, and I was devastated when she died. Oh, and I got so pissed off with her boyfriend Chriss, what a fucking arsehole to do to her the things he did...  finmad  Cheesy Really killed off a good thing they had going. Was really hard for me to keep watching the show after that. But still all in all, was an awesome fucking show.  yes

So now that I've borrowed the box set again, I'm going through all the seasons, again. Am up to season 4 at the moment.  dance

Finally started watching Dexter last week, anything to escape the lameness that is my life.  I'm half way through season 3, and although it's a time killer and I love the inner monologues, it's just not fantasy based, which means I can't give it a super high rating.

the fact that I'm still watching it says something, but no demons or dragons have popped out so I just can't max rate it.

I've also heard alot of people talking about breaking bad, is that the show about sexist twats in hollywood, or is that mad men?  because I honestly couldn't stomach watching a bunch of sleazebags parading around like they are gods.

I should google,  I could google, but that would make me useful to myself, and that's the best joke I've heard all year.  Grin

Inhale the good shit, exhale the bullshit.

Haha don't diss Mad Men! First of all it's not in Hollywood, it's in NYC. And it's much, MUCH more than being about sexist twats in the 60's. But I doubt it's really your thing, given the lack of dragons and vampires!

Breaking Back is a different kind of beast. It's generally about drug trade.

my wife and i are probably the saddest people on gods green earth. the only thing we watch is 24, we've probably seen all 8 seasons 3 times each already - but we keep watching it again and again and again.

i'd like to start watching other things

might try the danish ones - killing and borgias. and also try dexter. won't be as good as 24 though.

The Borgias isn't Danish, yo! It's still a nice show. Visually, at least. Sometimes it really lacks substance, but overall it's very enjoyable.

At the moment I have a big thing for GRIMM. It’s silly, could be a whole lot better, but it’s enjoyable viewing — not least of which because it’s loosely based on various fairytales from the Grimm brothers.

I've almost finished Louie Season 2. I'd give it it a 9/10. The masturbation episode is easily one the funniest episodes I've ever seen.

Here's a clip from the show:
