    Me. That was one of the questions I answered "No" too. I want a nice car, but the days of me wanting to put a big tail pipe, mag wheels and spoiler on my Saturn SL-2 are long gone.

    As far as the high street lagers are concerned, its not the worst, but then thats not a really high standard.

    A cold, cold Stella on a hot day is kind of refreshing.

    Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Chav might be similar to what Yanks call "Trailer trash" - is that the right term?

    Or white trash. Or in certain parts of New England "swamp yankees" or when it comes to Italian-Americans "guidos" or "goombahs" or when it comes to Southerners or country folk or right-wing racists, "rednecks"

    But yeah I'd say white trash is the closest term we got to chav.

    I think that's what the original meaning was, but in recent times I've seen the word being tastelessly used as a slur against people from poorer backgrounds in general -- usually by the Daily Mail crowd.
