the problem with people you see as more attractive than you is that you see them as more attractive due to a construct. why are certain looks more attractive? why are thinner women more attractive? why is straight hair more attractive? why is lighter skin more attractive? this is a construct.
i can tell you this about my personal opinion, but it speaks for a lot of guys as well:
- many black, arab, etc girls think straight hair looks better. i disagree. natural hair tends to look better. i'm not saying just wake up, take a shower and leave the house. obviously it's normal for you to want to look presentable and take care of your hair, but keep your hair texture. frizzy hair can look fuckin sexy if taken care of. it beats the hell out of straightened african hair. same with arabs and wavy hair, etc. i see a lot of my female friends straightening their hair, but it really doesn't look as good as their natural texture. the same goes for straight hair. if your hair is straight, chances are, it's not gonna look good wavy. personal opinion, of course, but again, i think many guys agree.
- the size of your boobs doesn't matter. boobs are boobs. and i'm not saying sometimes i ignore bad boobs and try to see other qualities, i actually don't care. even when i watch porn i enjoy different sizes. i'm not going to lie and say i like all boobs equally, but chances are, your boobs are alright
- same goes for asses. asses come in different shapes and sizes, and many are hot/cute/adorable or whatever.. either way, i find many attractive.
- also, tummy/weight. it's not the end of the world if you have a bit of extra weight. in fact i find it can be really really really cute if a girl has a bit of a tummy. and i don't mean "oh she's cute but i wouldnt really fuck her," i mean i actually watch porn of girls of different sizes. and i can't even decide which i prefer.
- the most important point is that it's not about any individual part of your body, it's about how that part fits YOU. you can't compare yourself to someone else because that person isn't you, and their body does not come together the way yours does. different looks work on different people. i have a friend who was really obsessed about how fat she was, and i mean she was pretty overweight, but i thought she was really hot. i'm not saying all girls are attractive, because obviously that's not how attraction works, or that i don't care about looks, because i do, but it's not about types or models.
- it's not the end of the world if you have a big nose, or big ears. it's really hard to explain, but imperfections are attractive.
- chances are, there is someone somewhere out there who saw you and is depressed about not having this or that body part like yours.
Now if only women thought like that about me…
