    So guys I'm off to get my first tattoo in a month or so as a marking of how I've managed to overcome the 'dark ages' of my life so far. I bear the scars of it inside so I think that later on in life it will be a reassurance to see it there, know that I've made it and that I will make it again. A quiet reminder, if you may. I don't want anything long, just something short and sweet. Some of the things I've considered are:

    Luctor et emergo - I struggle and emerge.

    Sic itur ad astra -  Thus you shall go to the stars.

    Youth has no age.

    Believe.

    Breathe.


    So I'm just looking for inspiration, if you guys could help out with any euphemisms/short quotes or even a single word you'd think would fit the situation, that'd be awesome.

    Im not the type that should ever get one since I change my mind too often, but I have thought about what it would say anyways and always though the word FREE would be nice, not freedom but just FREE (in arabic) Smiley although maybe thats a bit too short since its like two letters in arabic, maybe a nice quote with it instead

    Well you could do a real Latin version if you wanted to, but it might be longer and clumsier.

    My favorite expression in Latin is:

    amicus certus
    in re incerta
    cernitur

    Which means "A true friend is discerned in uncertain times", (i.e. when things go to sh*t that's when you know who your true friends are) sounds a lot better in Latin though.

    I am planning on getting a tattoo soon, when i can afford it. Currently the prospect of feeding myself is a bit more important. Piercings are also expensive (the kind I want). So annoying.

    Did you know that unicorns are real? Not just the invisible ones! They're hiding from humans right now because people suck, but the unicorns might show themselves to the few humans they know will not harm them. Once I can travel on my own I will go looking for them.  yes
