    Hey guys, we (me and Omaar Khayaam) want to arrange a meet-up for us Notherners. If anyone is interested then let us know. We need to decide what city to meet-up in so if you can also post what is preferable, then we can decide where we're meeting.

    The plan is to meet up for some food, but we wont know where until we know which city is preferable for people!

    I'm going to throw in some ideas for the cities. Please feel free to suggest more.

    Leeds
    Sheffield
    Manchester
    Harrogate

    I like Harrogate as it's nice and pleasant. Makes a change to some of the more bigger busier cities.

    I don't mean to distract from the purpose of this thread, but I went to Harrogate once and there is a REALLY GOOD CUPCAKE SHOP THERE!!! So everybody, if you go there, go to that cupcake place!!! It has a pink sign.

    I just googled it, and it didn't have a pink sign. Tongue I'm 99% sure it was this place.

    Edit: Actually, it's DEFINITELY this place cuz it's by the roundabout.

    I just noticed this thread. I'd like to come, but I don't know if I am fully committed to the idea, I am very reclusive. Plus I have no ride, or money at the moment.

    Okay. If you can suggest any other places other than what has been suggested above then that would be great. Also what kind of food you fancy? I like Italan so any decent suggestions would be great.

    I’m easy when it comes to food. I try not to eat much on a night out on account of my colitis so I’ll go along with whatever others want. Italian sounds good to me! I like the idea of Leeds, but I’ve not really visited Harrogate so I wouldn’t mind giving that a go.

    Harrogate is nice and different. Transport isn't a problem for those in my neck of the woods. They can come with me. Here is a food and pub guide for Harrogate.

    Need to set a date. I'll suggest a couple that are good with me to get us started (they are all Saturdays but I can do the following Sunday if needs be).

    I think you meant the 14th of July and the 4th of August?

    The 14th and the 28th of July are good for me, as is the 4th of August.

    Restaurant and pub is fine with me. We just need to confirm the town/city.

    Let's just keep it simple. People can point out the dates that are unavailable to them, if Ramadan makes it difficult then that comes under the same banner.
