    Did Mohamed use sex in heaven to sell Muslims on Islam?

    Sex is a great marketing tool. I was in marketing and I would say yes but then I am not a Muslim.

    When you all were in Islam, did it ever come to your thinking that Mohamed used sexual rewards in heaven to sell Muslims on his religion?

    Yes. The Lust of sex and multiple partners, the Gluttony of infinite food and fruits, the Sloth of not doing anything, the Vanity of being specially permitted in heaven while everyone else burned, the Greed of infinite wealth and palaces. All rewards for submitting and escaping the Wrath Allah because of his very human-like Pride as an omnipotent being.

    there is little doubt on that .,  

    Well, "there is  no god without life and no life without sex, hence there is  "NO GOD WITHOUT SEX  SO SEX IS GOD"  It is all simple math. And Prophet of Islam indeed  sold god to early Muslim folks .  In fact he sold sex to those who went for war in the name of Islam  in this life as"Loot & booty" and after this life to the Jannah in that wide eyed houri big bosom house.  So the Soldiers will have sex all the time in this life and after this life.. That is Jannah..Jannah ..beautiful jannah..

    When I was in Islam, I regarded sex as something shameful and only married couples should indulge in it very rarely and only for procreation. I think I had more in common with Catholics in that regard. At a young age, I even thought that monasticism was a good thing, and had some inclination towards that way of living, if only to avoid the spectre of sex.
    I was always told of the other rewards in heaven; houses built with gold bricks, flowing rivers, eating and drinking to your hearts content etc. etc. which never interested me all that much. I had built up in my own mind a vision of heaven where all your individual desired are fulfilled, even if they were only of an intellectual variety,  

    As I grew and learned more about Islam, I saw that sex was big thing in Islam and yes, it came to my mind that it was used to sell a religion to humans of lesser development.

    I'm pretty sure that salafis think of the houris to make up for the lack of sex they had in their youth.

    Don't worry brothers the kaafir women of this earth might not be attracted to our long manly beards and lack of fashion sense but the extremely hot houris will worship is in the hereafter.

    “Never should a believer kill a believer; but (If it so happens) by mistake, (Compensation is due): If one (so) kills a believer, it is ordained that he should free a believing slave, and pay compensation to the deceased's family, unless they remit it freely. If the deceased belonged to a people at war with you, and he was a believer, the freeing of a believing slave (Is enough). If he belonged to a people with whom ye have treaty of Mutual alliance, compensation should be paid to his family, and a believing slave be freed…” (Q 4:92)

    “If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice” (Q 4:03).

    Yes. I am sure that that promise of sexual desirability is made as part of using sex to sell Islam.

    Perhaps I slam would be a better way of spelling it considering the heaven they offer.

    I wish I could ask such a question in Muslim forums but they would not allow it.

    To really get an idea of how shallow Islam is. Compare it to Buddhism, in Buddhism your reward for following it is enlightenment and all knowledge of the universe and life. The pride of Islam in heaven is to offer you is indulgences in excess (sex, food, wealth), no wisdom mentioned (or if it is, I have not heard of it). Is that really something to strive for and be proud of?

    Very good point Crunchy Cds. For an all knowing God beyond our feeble understanding or comprehension Allah's abode is strangely suited to the most feeble minded and those who can't comprehend the nuances of reality. It's truly fast food for the masses, an advertisement that everyone can comprehend because it appeals to one's basest level.

    If heaven is an all perfect spiritual plane of existence then it doesn't need to draw upon sex or wealth, those things become fast redundant because bliss is achieved in non-earthly ways, and the Buddhist reward seems a lot more believable in this regard.

    Personally i think Mohammad just couldnt get enough play boy bunnies on earth so he took it to the next level and said women are for one thing only in heaven and you can still keep yout wife who will be happy for you to be in a constant state of porn

    For those still living with muslims it can be so fustrating. Even my hubby was telling me the other day there will be no ghusal in heaven i was thinking wtf. He was saying it will be pure sex. I cracked up laughing and said do u really think u can sleep around popping cherries of sex slave girls and then stand before Allah. He didnt reply. Islam is just sick!!!!

    Lol ive even heard guys say they are keeping to no sex outside of marriage because the reward in heaven with constant sex is to good to sin for and lose out.What the hell is wrong with these people.

    I watched the video 'Stunning beauty of your wife in Jannah' that someone posted and asked myself:

    How in the blue Hell does Allah know what sexually arouses us?

    For example, if I say 'this is beautiful' I must have a concept of beauty as a frame of reference. Therefore, there are things that I consider to be beautiful.

    If I think that men will be sexually aroused by a certain woman, it must mean that a) I feel sexually aroused by that woman or b) have been sexually by a woman and am able to empathise with other men who may be sexually aroused by a woman.

    So, if the houris turn men on then it must be that Allah is, in turn, turned on by them too. For if he had no concept of beauty (and we all know that this incorporates sexuality) then why refer to it as beautiful and provide provocative, seductive, alluring descriptions of said objects (women).

    For Allah to know what turns men on He must have felt some of that desire Himself otherwise how could He know that it would form a powerful incentive to lure people into worshipping Him. Simply observing that men like women is not enough. If He knows everything (is omniscient) then He must know what sexual desire must be like. If He knows what sexual desire must be like then He must have had sexual urges. If He has had sexual urges then He must desire to have sex. If He desires to have sex and can not do so then He must be sexually frustrated. If He is sexually frustrated than He may inflict His resentment upon women.....hmmmmmmm.......

    If true it would show more of a Satanic God than a good one. That would be a curse as none of the 70 would be special to us.
