    Everything that was once forbidden on earth is now perfectly ok.
    Orgies and constant sex anyway you deem fit. With multiple women you can freely rape because they have no feeling
    or emotions to protest. Every man's fantasy apparently.
    Abundance of food and alcohol to gorge on and not get fat.
    The luxury of doing nothing, no ambitions, no goals, no dreams, no.. life
    Gold, money, material items to satisfy ones greed.
    Repeating a meaningless bliss for not one hundred years, or a thousands or a billion years..an eternity.
    Think about doing the same thing for a billion years... now try to comprehend what an eternity is?
    The promise of being reunited with loved ones, but if those loved ones, be not of the chosen religion or have sinned too much then you will never
    see them again. Well then I suppose you'll just have to live without them. But since God is so merciful all memories will be wiped of them so you
    need not feel the pain anymore of longing.

    The concept of heaven, is reducing the thinking man, to living like cattle.
    Living in a field unaware of anything else except getting fat off of the grass which
    is our desires, programmed to forever enjoy that same grass day after day without change.

    How can you know joy without knowing sadness?
    How can you know comfort without knowing pain?
    How can you know love without hate?
    How can you be entertained without knowing boredom?
    How can you value wealthy without knowing poverty?
    How can you know what is a smile without knowing what it is to cry?

    We wouldn't even be longing for heaven in the first place if we did not want to escape from the pain and suffering.
    So how is it that one can live in heaven for an eternity and not forget the same thing that made them what to yearn
    for heaven in the first place.

    For some of us, what heaven offers is something we would consider a living hell of rampant desires run amuck.

    To me, the only logical way heaven could exist is only in one's own mind as to not conflict with someone else. For my idea of entertainment and bliss
    is not the same as someone who lived 400 years before me. Which means heaven is not a single place but infinite places  constructed based on how we viewed the world during our life and at the point of our death.

    Technically it is possible to be happy for an eternity, and never be bored. All you need is that your brain be wired to be that way.

    At one time I did ask someone about jannah and what was in store for women. What if I didn't want to still belong to a man and be seen as little more than a high quality houri? The answer I got was not to worry about the details of the reward of jannah. No matter what it is, Allah will make us so that we enjoy it.

    So, my thoughts, desires, and everything who makes me who I am will be removed and I'll live a life of mindless, acquiescent appeasement? Hardly something to aspire to, but better than the alternative. Avoiding the horrors of hellfire, not seeking the pleasures of paradise, was my primary motivation as a Muslim.

    I can't know the sun will rise in the morning. There could be a comet coming I'm not aware of and smash the Earth out of orbit. There could be a cosmic storm that covers the world in darkness. There could be a black hole that is sucking in our solar system. However, I'm pretty sure tomorrow the sun will rise. I'm as sure there's no afterlife as much as I am the sun will rise tomorrow.
