Happy that it gives me insight to a life and experience I would never have had otherwise, or you feel happy reading your own words?

Happy that it gives you insight to a different life.

And a job well done. Afro

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

After a lot of thought, I decided to create this thread. My main concern was my actual identity being linked to this project, but I feel that I am anonymous enough on here to share.

    http://sinofgreed.wordpress.com/

My apologizes to Ex-Hijabi for previously hijacking her thread.

No worries! I'm glad you did. When you first sent me your link, I read all of your posts that night. Your writing is very easy and real (does that make sense?  Cheesy). It's like no bullshit, just real life here and I like it. It allows the reader to feel the way they want to about your life story without you telling them how to. The whole time I sympathized with you, I also sympathized for your mother and the life she found herself in. Oh and when you wrote about your trip to Egypt, it reminded me of the time that I lived in Syria. Every description you had about them hitting the students put me right back there so, yeah, powerful stuff.

"so now, if you leave (Allahu A?lam is you already have) what will u do??? go out and show ur body to all the men??? sleep with countless men?? maashaAllah if you think think this is freedom or womens right then may Allah guide you to that which is correct."

Exactly what I was aiming for. Thank you for reading it all. I have a Syrian friend who read it and told me about how it was the same there. It really is barbaric. I'm sorry that you had to live through that as well.

That was intensely interesting. Guinea pigs, for real? That's some decent urban farming, easier than rabbits to house. I never would have guessed.

Aw, thanks. Let me put that on my resume, under my name, and the next time I apply for godhood, I am sure I will get past the autochecker.
I am already spoken for, so I can't propose to movingfeet, nor her poetry. I am just watching, here. Y'all go ahead, I am loving these blogs.

Hmm  peering or peeking  into the windows of some one's past or future is indeed Greed .,
It is the sin of greed and it is the sin of god Jedi ..
Forget past.. Live in present and plan for future
make that as goal.. Past is past..

Do not let silence become your legacy.. Question everything

I like peering into the windows of your past.

An old mentor of mine told me once to write an autobiography. I never understood what was so interesting about my life to warrant that until I saw the overwhelming responses to projects like mine. More and more I write, I find that people either like it are horrified by it.

Thank you for peering in, Jedi. This is a very hard project for me.

I have been told to write one, too. It seems so embarrassing, mine does. I admire your courage, to present all so practically. The style, (the more I read it, the more I am sure) is a first for me. I don't think I have encountered anything at all like it since See The Kid Run (Bob Ottum) which still was heavier on the emotional, and my memory is hazy on that, as it was so long since I read it in the eighties.

I would love to read it when it gets done. If it helps, when I am done with my projects, maybe you could record it and I will transcribe it?
