    Honestly it depends on preference. There's a place in Nottingham called Rock City. I've been in there and seen couples shrouded in darkness having sex on the seats. There's sex in car parks at 3am. There's sex in homes, in hotel rooms, in woods and forests and rivers and lakes and valleys and city alleys and the list goes on. The better question is where do you want to have sex?

    My former roommate had wanted to have sex on a beach for years, and, once it finally happened, he was seriously disillusioned and cautions against it. Apparently sand looks more romantic than it feels.

    I was at rock city today visiting notts not sure how i got there the place is a maze, id say exhibitionists are an example of a worst case scenario..  with the right person there are no worst or best places.. Well within reason lol

    I'm still going to stand by my statement that deep friendships trump "romantic love " any day.

    To prove my point.

    Friendships are stronger than romance.  In romance if your partner falls in love with another person the romance is over.  In friendship since you don't have a restriction  on the number of friends so deep friendships are the actual relationships about which you can say "Till death do us apart" .

    In my opinion a life without curiosity is not a life worth living

    ^ I think that speaks more to the differences in love rather than to their strengths.

    It is a bit of a mistake to say that romantic love and familial love are the same type of love, and it becomes more of a mistake to say one is stronger than the other based on the intrinsic conditions they have.

    For some people, family will always be the most important thing, or perhaps friendship will be, but I've known people who were infatuated, and I've known people deeply in romantic love. I've even known of people who love their long-time spouses more than their children (I'm looking at you, wife of Michael Chabon). It just depends. It's all subjective.

    I guess it varies from person to person.  I'm just basing it on my observations. With alot of people boyfriends/girlfriends seem to come and go but deep friendships tend to continue unless something majorly horrible happens.

    You speak as someone who has never been in love. Ask a parent the first time they knew they could kill someone, anyone, if they had to, and they will tell you the first time they held their children. Ask a child the name of god, that child will say mother. Ask someone when they knew without doubt they would give their live for another, they will tell you the moment they realised they were in love.

    It doesn't have to be a sexual thing. Love has different flavours. You  can love people in different ways and taste the difference on your tongue. Most people feel it only for a child or a lover. Some, if lucky enough, will feel it for a friend close enough that in your heart you call them family.     Maybe I would've agreed with you when I was your age, but when you love someone romantically, that love grows stronger and deeper and the friendship you share is much more strong than any other. If you have that special person, just a hug from him/her can make you feel like all your problems in the world dissappear.
