Grin Took long enough! But I don't know, I like having a reason to shuffle around lazily and slowly, I like the night to be exciting and energetic, I even kind of like having to be forced to remember how much it sucks not to have food whenever you want it! I think it's good for me. Not for everyone, sure, but for me, anyway.  wacko

I don't think I will ever enjoy it.

I remember for some reason while fasting I'd tend to have "nocturnal emissions".

Like seriously body, I'm dehydrating you for 12 hours, and then you figure the best thing to spend those resources on is that. Seriously top class trolling.

Well I was still going to school and participating in mandatory PE classes, so I'd much rather conserve the fluid for things like standing upright and functioning normally, tyvm.

I live on my own but I have to work in an environment where it is just teapot pakis who is religious but they know I am an apostate so it will be interesting.

Can anyone provide me with a decent challenge?

I hate Ramadan and its the one time where it becomes a bit harder to get by without 'comign out'.

Its very fast to fast when you don't have the faith.

I tend to drink water at work but I have to say I feel bad about eating when other family members are hungry.

You know i don't actually mind the fasting and the cultural aspects of ramadaan and well eid day Cheesy

But what is going to majorly bug me is my entire family becoming super religious, EVERYTHING is about alllah, read lots of quraan, listen to lectures, 'make changes for the better'
Before I was on their side and agreed with all pf this, although I use to rather read an english quraan and understand it then fast read 10 arabic quraans not knowing what the point of that is.

I see messages all over now, ramadaan is coming, time to make changes not just for the month but for EVER.

Ironically I plan to openly ditch the hijaab AFTER ramadaan. This sneaking around is becoming a bit much

You should celebrate the end of ramadan by hiring a hooker and licking wine mixed with flakes of smokey bacon off his cock right before enjoying mind blowing sex with someone who does it professionally. Afro

Its that time of the year again. One day...one day I will be living in a place where I wouldn't be aware that Ramadan has started or maybe forget that such month exists.

This is going to the first time one of my kids will be aware of the fasting month, going to be a tricky one. 'Daddy, why isn't Mummy eating?' Me 'because she believes the God, told her not to eat for a month between daylight hours every year' no wait 'the God told an angel who passed it on to a man nearly a milenium and a half ago to pass it on to the rest of us (hard sale)'. 'Daddy are you not eating too?' Me 'Well I'm trying  not to but unlike your mother I'm not very good at it.'
*Imagines it playing out something like that*

Why not simply "The god mummy thinks is real" or something along those lines?

That would suggest I'm not towing the party line, the elephant in the room/unsaid agreement (or even has been said in the past) is that outwardly I'm a muslim and I suppose this applies to my kids. It's a fine line I walk. Not a great way to base a marriage on, "if you don't pretend to be muslim, I'll run back to Asia with your kids". Honestly there's no resentment from my side really. Wink

There honestly needs to be a law saying that people have to have a written agreement for kids to be taken out of the country by just one of the parents. This should be linked with passport numbers and if they turn up at an airport they should be turned away!
