They will ask how you know your mother is your mother

I hate that one! Besides, despite a whole bunch of pictures of my day of birth and hand prints and evidence that she's probably my mother, I'm still more willing to consider the possibility that somehow she might not be my mother than the average Muslim is willing to consider that the Quran might not be the work of God.

But yes, Zeus, you are about to embark on a terrible, endless journey of listening to one argument after another from theists. If you disprove one of their arguments or claims, you'd better believe they're going to come back with another one with equal or less merit than the one you destroyed. Most of them use flawed analogies. Some of them are Frankenstein monsters of old Christian cosmological arguments or theoretical concepts in physics. Some of them use chocolate bars. There are infinite places for them to hide. You're in for an annoying ride... no

That chocolate bar video by LDM had me on the floor, crying.

My mind runs, I can never catch it even if I get a head start.

    I want chocolate.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

I've been reading a lot about Islam, watching hours of debates and reading countless religious discussions. It's very tiring . indeed some of the muslim apologist are plain stupid and annoying to read. especially zakir naik.
I'm prepared for this ride. I have to, there is no other way. Unless i migrate to somewhere else and start a new life. but i love my family and migration is the last thing i would do.

Ah, good luck, then, and make sure to take a lot of breaks and do things you enjoy to not get burned out and overwhelmed. I get in moods where all day long all I'm thinking about is Islam!  mysmilie_977

Arabic is a human language thus any superb examples of literary genius are within the capabilities of humans. Exceptional examples of work by authors, poets, screenwriters, playwrights, etc, in many languages are granted awards all the time. People just do not build a religion around the Tale of Two Cities. The argument is a none starter and a dick measuring contest, nothing more.

If you want to learn about Islam enroll in an Islamic Studies program, not the religious one, at a secular university. Around my area the courses are free due to cooperation with local mosques. For example http://www.ccsmsc.sfu.ca/
