    I hold the opposite view of people as Hassan especially for people with the track record of Hamza. He was busted and is now in damage control. If someone wanted to commit smear Hamza there are far better and more public ways to do so. However I see no need to go nuts on the web about it.

    I set my bar low so I am not disappointed when the majority fails to meet those standards. No disappointment this way.

    Oh, don't get me wrong: my first instinct was to laugh, because I'm not as good as Hassan, but I aspire to be at least half as good as Hassan, which I think will be more than enough for me to get by in life.

    So I collected myself, reminded myself of the right thing to do, which is often not fun, and figured I'd take you down with me.  grin12

    Meh. If it's true, it's a story that's repeated itself over and over again. Religious fundie caught having an affair. David and Bathsheba, Muhammad and Zainab, Jimmy Swaggart and the hookers, Elijah Muhammad and the secretaries, Martin Luther King and the mistresses. The familiarity of the story almost makes it lose its irony.

    Human beings have sex, even the ones who try to pretend that they don't. They are just the ones who have to go through all the trouble of hiding it even further.

    And of course, he could just really be in loving, committed relationship with Mrs Tzortzis and this could all just be a set up.

    Either way, meh.

    Hamza's statement said that searching for a wife was halal. Muslim men can have more than one and their spouses do not have to be Muslim. He stressed that being on Ashley Madison as a Muslim man is perfectly halal.

Like I said to three, I'm reading that as most of the things one could use that site for are immoral but that one thing is totally fine, but I was more confused about your response vs. the part of my post you quoted. Do you mean that one shouldn't be aware of this in his situation? That he isn't? Maybe rephrasing is what I'm asking for. Grin
