I know sex is like a super taboo subject in Islam,am I the only one who received hardly any to nearly nothing about sex?
I mean pretty much all I got was when you start your period you're officially a woman and won't be able to pray and your sins will be accounted for.
My mosque I went to panicked when they heard that schools were going to give us sex and and tried to give us the Islamic low down (basically don't have sex unless you're married and thing that comes out of your body is filthy and that you should be ashamed of the changes)
That being said my mother also didn't give me much just that sex is great of your married and that if you want answers about it go to the Quran (#awks)
Luckily I was a science student so biology helped a lot! And so did my "kafir" school teachers.
I pretty much learned to use birth control through science and learned everything I know abouty body and its functions through there.
All I got from Islam was you must be married and don't do anal.

Also keep away from animals....but that is great advice from the holiest of books.

Some chap from an Arab country I knew was told by his elder brother that women in Canada had teeth down there and if he tried to have sex with them then they would bite off his penis.

He also did not know that it takes nine months for a human mother to incubate a baby. He proudly told all his classmates his wife had a baby that was premature by two months and was a healthy nine pounds. It was pointed out to him that most premature babies are small and not very healty. Also if he had been married for 7 months then probably that was not his baby. He eventually had a paternity test done and the results were not very conclusive mostly because one of his brothers had helped set up the marriage. I highly suspect that the baby was his married brother's. Of course he was saving this woman's life in marrying her. The marriage was arranged when he was 17 and she was about 24. So she stayed in England while he studied in Canada and he would come and visit her every few months. At one point she told him to come and visit and she let him stay with her for two days, had sex once or twice and then kicked him out. He stayed with other friends and went back to Canada. He got news later that she was pregnant again.

My mother never wanted me to have sex education. She would pull me out of school when they had those lessons and take me shopping.

If it wasnt for the internet and sex education, I would have always believed that:

-Baby are delivered from the skies to hospitals

-Just lying down with a man would make you pregnant

Flying sperm probably exists.

And this just gets on my nerves. If you have grown up in a pakistani household and somehow managed to watch a few Pakistani tv shows, there's this widespread misconception:

-Babies are God's will

Nonooooo nooooooooo.

It's so fucking ridiculous. Couples who dont even get along, somehow manage to have sex?

Like they even show you they dont talk to each other and all of a sudden the girl is pregnant.

And then they say, it is god's will??

What???

I made a mistake it meant to say sex education hahaha. My school never gave us sex LOLOLOL

I mean some parents weren't happy that their kids were getting taught that in schools
Here on the UK children as young as 5 get the basics (this is a vagina and this is a penis)
I think it's great because it curves any curiosity and mainly because if you don't teach them that they have parts they don't know if someone were to touch them that that is wrong my friends are teachers and they explained that to me and I think it makes sense.
Do you know how many poor Muslim kids get molested at madrasah and through family members. A lot.

No. She did not. A total mystery to me and my mother passed a few years ago so no opportunity to ask her.

It makes me really sad and outraged when young children are molested and never taught their body is private or even the words to express themselves. There needs to be some type of sex education but many parents do this themselves somewhat well.
I am not too sure that school do need to teach about masterbation, kinky sex, anal sex etc. Most kids are fascinated about where babies come from.

Blow jobs are halal apparently.
Though in a community where speaking about privates is frowned upon,how does one go about asking if they my blow someone?

If you control sex you control the people.
It's sad really to think that some people live their lives in fear and can't allow themselves the basic pleasures because they wonder if it's allowed or not. :(

Hahah I don't think you got my point.
The fact of the matter is school won't cover oral. Though school will cover that it exists and tell you that can't get pregnant from it.
School will explain the mechanisms of sexual organs how they work etc.
Religion does none of this,not even acknowledge it in some cases.
At school my teachers literally covered most things and any questions we had they wouldn't tell us to go read a vague book which doesn't actually explain anything but what not to do if you're married.

Like surely it should be okay as your not hurting anyone and just reliving a human desire we all have that needs to be fufilled.
If you have to wait years go get married does God who created us expect us to have no sexual desire until your wedding night where you marry someone you've probably known for a day since they've been picked for you as dating is out of the question.

When you maths-turbate you usually think of someone don't you? Or two, or three or whatever you're into. That's haram as that means you have an impure heart.

There were concessions made such as a a 'wet dream' in which case you should perform wudu/ablutions depending upon whether or not you believe what Yusuf al-Qardawi says.

It seriously ruins the fun, stopping people before they go all in.

I really love it, when someone takes The Onion or Landover serious, especially established media.
