    There are tooooo many amazing people on this site. Seriously.

    I want to nominate billy. He is doing amazing things, many of them behind the scenes... just an amazing person that I am proud of having amongst us.

    But seriously, the list of POTM worthy people on this forum is very very long now. Thank you to each and every member who contributes here. Each of you brings your voice, your experience, your insight, your sense of humour and I am privileged to be part of this community with you.

    This POTM and the JOTM thing is just a small token of how much I and we all value ALL the members here, ExMuslims, and allies. Love to you all.

    I didn't even have a speech prepared. First of all, I'd like to thank my mum…and my dad…and my campaign manager billy, and the Internet, and the CEMB forums which served as a platform for my (now) award-winning rants, a big thanks to all those who voted for me, and of course a warm and heartfelt far away hug to all the lovely ex-Muslims and our equally lovely never-been-Muslim members who make this place a sanctuary and an online home for all those of us who feel alone and like we don't belong in our "communities" IRL. This place is one of a kind in every sense of the phrase. 

    (I just realised that entire paragraph was only TWO sentences; my online grammar needs some work.)

    To the admin and the people who run this place, keep up the great work Afro and know that it is very much appreciated. 

    I'm off to frolic in Brussels tomorrow so I mightn't be back online until the day after. Once again, thank you all.
