So... no answer? How often does this happen? Somebody comes in with an assertion and leaves?
I also heard that Eve apology story. But then you have the half inheritance verse, hadith of women making up the larger part of the inhabitants of hell, you have 2 women witnesses for one man, women can divorce but in practical terms it seems really hard, and also she needs approval from her man (or am i wrong here?). Also the verse saying men have a higher degree over women, and the beat your wives part, of course after you ignore them and admonish them. Not to mention women cant marry other than muslims, they can only have 1 husband, he can however have 4 and concubines and im not sure about this, please correct me, but the truth is that he doesn?t need to ask for permission

half inheritance - "well you know... man is supposed to provide for the family." ok? so what if there are no men only one daughter? or if the parents actually want to choose how much to give in inheritance? what about in today?s age? girls might not marry until late? or they are single mothers? maybe they don?t want to marry? or they may want to support the family? or help with half of the income of the family?
2 witness for one man - apology for that is well back then you know women were not as smart, they were not as educated? really? really? all the men were educated? i thought most people back then were illiterate? they had universities and schools in 7th century Arabia? this comes as news to me. what about khadija? she was a successful business-woman
and on and on, always an interpretation that is not there in the Quran or in the hadith. read literally as it is meant to be read and you wont find any of these modern explanations, you will find exactly what should be found.
its pretty much impossible to be an independent and strong-willed woman in islam, im glad i was born a man, and then i think, wait a minute? there is something wrong with that logic, surely it cant be me at fault? or women being born that are at fault? ah i see, there is a whole pervasive system at fault, founded by men, ruled by men and apologies made mostly by men
