I only said that the sun will align with the equator plane of the black hole in the centre of our galaxy

The Galactic plane argument, firstly we are not even going to cross the galactic plane according to the journal nature and others there is evidence of crossing the plane 3 million years ago this would mean we are moving AWAY from the Galactic plane and are not due to cross until another 30 million years. Also the margin of error in these calculations is about 2.1 par 6 or about 6.5 light years.

For the confused goons on this thread who are biitching about my article

Read the article again you fools, I never said it will be the end of the world, I only said that the sun will align with the equator plane of the black hole in the centre of our galaxy, guess what you fools, read what the scientists said including Einstein

Now, do I want such thing to happen? Of course not,  however I have to at least consider it as a possibility

please all confused goons, dismiss your ignorant bums

Did I annoy you by linking your predictions on the matter? You put it up on a public forum after all...

No you did not, you just acted like a coward that's all

now I posted that article on FI and FFI, yet you said nothing there, rather, you prefered to come here and biitch about it behind my back, knowing that I am an active member in here

Well, I didn't have a comment to make on your article ffs!

Berberella asked for an example of Islamic 2012 doomsday predictions and I provided one.

If you really want to know I can tell you why I believe your 2012/sun rising in West to be in error and illogical.

Fine tell me, I am all ears

Oh good to know, the concept of the sun rising from the West comes form the hadith:

    Quote
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Dharr that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) one day said: Do you know where the Sun goes? They replied: Allah and His Apostle know best. He (the Holy Prophet) observed: Verily it (the Sun) glides till it reaches its resting place under the Throne. Then it falls prostrate and remains there until it is asked: Rise up and go to the place whence you came, and it goes back and continues emerging out from its rising place and then glides till it reaches its place of rest under the Throne and falls prostrate and remains in that state until it is asked: Rise up and return to the place whence you came, and it returns and emerges out from it rising place and the it glides (in such a normal way) that the people do not discern anything (unusual in it) till it reaches its resting place under the Throne. Then it would be said to it: Rise up and emerge out from the place of your setting, and it will rise from the place of its setting. The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said. Do you know when it would happen? It would happen at the time when faith will not benefit one who has not previously believed or has derived no good from the faith.

Now, do you know what the implication of this hadith is? Well for any of this to happen the universe has to be geocentric, in other words the earth has to be the centre of the universe and all other planets and starts orbit around the earth, but we know this to be untrue and a common misconception the Muslims held, the Arab astronomer Ibn al-Shatir and the Persian Nasir al-Din al-Tusi based used Greek (geocentric) astronomy to create complex models of our ?universe? - they basically regarded our solar system as our universe - that were geocentric just like the Quran.

Lets see, the sun does not set any place, it is just observed as such from the earth, the sun does not go under a throne. You see, the emphasis' is placed on what the sun does around earth when it should be really what the earth does around the sun. Even for the sake of argument we say the sun one day rises from the West to our perspective, the psychial location of the sun will not change, only the tilt or rotation of the earth would change!!!! again disproving the Mohammed concept. As according to the Quran it deals with the sun, the sun having permission etc.

So all you have done with this 2012 crap is prove Mohammed thought the universe was geocentric. LOL

What a coincidence, and a good post I must say.

"It may happen that the enemies of Islam may consider it expedient not to take any action against Islam, if Islam leaves them alone in their geographical boundaries... But Islam cannot agree to this unless they submit to its authority by paying Jizyah"
