Hassan I have always been a big fan of your youtube account 'discussislam' but if there is just ONE thing you havent done yet is to neutralise the whole 'Scientific Miracles in the Quran' dogma used by the likes of Dr Zakir Naik et al.

Zakir Naik, whom I never really liked even during my Muslim years, is someone quoted by all sorts of big and small jihadies and Muslims wanting to give credibility to their religion as being scientifically authentic. Debates with poorly informed christian and hindu figures by the likes of Zakir Naik in front of a heavily Muslim audience doesnt do anyone good. "My god beats up your god...and its proved by scientific miracles" etc.

Now it is time to at least make some videos about all this nonsensical insults to science by using stuff discovered theorised and proven by non-Muslims centuries AFTER their supposed true religion came out yet NEVER mentioned anything scientific until they saw the science and compared (insulted) the works of such great scientists by quoting ambiguous riddles from Quran/Hadith to take undeserved credit.

Hassan...your next video(s) are ideal to counter this nonsense for the sake of science and the service science has given to humanity rather than to a select band of abrahamic religious people.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Suprah and it has crossed my mind, but I haven't done it yet for three reasons.
1. I'm lazy. (It would mean looking up all the various scientific miracles, their verses, the traditional interpretations, what modern Muslims say, the various linguistic arguments etc... Plus it would have to be a series of videos as one video wouldn't cover them.)
2. I'm not a scientist. I can speak with a certain amount of authority on the Qur'an, tafseer etc, because that is what I studied. When I talk about these things I know what I'm talking about. But I am reluctant to present myself as an authority on specialist areas of science, such as embryology - for example - as this is not my area of expertise.
3. There are quite a few good videos out there that already debunk the Scientific Miracles.
But again thanks for the vote of confidence.
