Oh, yum!!! Good job Afro Afro

I've been away to London for the weekend and had some of the most yummiest foods. We went to this italian bakery near Soho called Princi-- absolutely amazing!!! We also had a bunch of veg. thai food, starbucks, another italian, Subway and this charming Belgian restuarant called Belgo. I've taken some pictures but they're on my friend's camera but that place was yummy yummy. Not the cheapest but worth it esp. since they stocked my favourite fruit beers. dance

Where were you when I needed you yesterday Angry

    Tongue

We had Philadelphia and chives sauces with it in the end. Was yummy! I also had an attempt at making caramalised carrots and onions. Came out okish, I put too much sugar in though.

Yum yum. It's easy to overdue the sugar when caramalising; you only need a tsp Smiley

I've been eating out alot recently, minus the camera, hence the lack of photo's. I made achari curry 2 days ago; it's maturing nicely in the fridge so i'm having that tonight. Afro

I'm off to an Italian tonight. Think I'll avoid the steak lol. I still have more of it left, so might have another steak on friday/weekend.

Bit late to mention it now, but went to an Italian restaurant the other day and chose a steak with a rich mushroom and brandy sauce  was wonderful  (you cant taste the brandy but its adds depth). Here's the recipe..

Make a Diane sauce or a red wine/veal stock peppercorn demiglace. Minus the mushrooms of course (though I think they are very good in both). Could also go with a parmesan, sour cream peppercorn sauce.

    fuck you

I never eat chicken here in europa, it taste like shit here. You can just imagine what the chicken nuggets are made from?

Some times when I sit in africa, I see poverty and struggle, but the food!!!!!

The vegetables, it is snack. The chicken is small, but lived outside and free all its life. The fruit that I pick in the forrest or in my garden.

Did you people know, that the orange tree, only growes togheter with humans? They dont grow in the forrest, only close to us.

The mango dont need humans and not the cashew either. When I am here, I only eat fish, that I catch my self, and and some reed meat from time to  time.

I am so tipsy today, hope everybody is fine!

How the hell do you make your pictures look so good (although I prefer my pasta slightly less cooked) on these threads - my piccies always make the food look so unappetising?  Do you use a mobile phone or a proper camera with lots of light to take them?

I change the settings around, primarily macro, flash and brightness.. My digi cam is old0sh, I bought it before I began taking a serious interest in photography and I haven't got round to investing in a SLR yet. I'm using an Olympus X-785.

macroscopic- for close up photography. It plays about by blurring either the foreground or the background, thus sharpening the target object, depending on the distance your camera works with on the mode.
