Oh well now I can say I probably don't like your food. Just kidding, it sounds like a thing that SHOULD be bad, but surprises you.
Like...Carbonated soft drinks, WHAT THE FUCK? Why take a sweet liquid, and blast gasses into making it prone to pressure leaks and irritating your mouth instead of soothing it.
But yes a cold can of coke...is heaven, for me anyway, in the heat.
When I meant sweet and sour, I forgot about the Western invention. I meant sweet as in plum sauce, or mandarin sauce.
My real favourite is in fact roast duck with plum sauce and fired noodles. You should try that, the problem with making good Chinese food at home is the ingredients Chinese people actually use are very rarely found here. So your method is the next best thing I suppose,
Bla bla bla bla .. oh wait yes a compliment .. finally
Of course if you want true chinese food with the chinese herbs and oils, then you can buy them ready made, which I do sometimes resort to if I don't have all of the ingredients at home. But my own recipe does taste very authentic and taste buddingly delish.
