Listening to my uncle give us sermons on the day of judgement and hell and what will happen to those who are judged keeps me up at night wondering if i am wrong and will end up in hell.

I have a feeling too that there is something, there must be a God, But if he loves me and cares for me and for others , then why is the world so messed up ?? there are many ppl suffering..
When i say that , i am told to be thankful for the good health he gave me , or whatever crap i take for granted , but some ppl are born blind or suffering certain illness , that means God hates them ?!! :/

I think its either one of two , Blind faith and no reasoning , or being agnostic ! at least thats what am thinking these days..

I don't know, Prosaic. It makes no sense to me. The existence of God poses more questions than it answers.

But be sure of this - no God would hate you for following your conscience and using your mind.

If there is a God - he LOVES ex-Muslims. (and Ex-Christians)

Sounds like you are a deist, similar to Hassan - i.e. you believe there is/maybe a supernatural being, but he has no religious affiliations as all current religions are man-made

I do not see any reason for a religion yes. If God thinks we Humans cannot make our own laws, he should have sent us an angel or some alien to tell us how to live , rather than expecting us to take another human`s word for it !

Muslims are constantly telling us we are bad, evil, sneaky, twisted, deceitful, filthy etc... and many ex-Muslims do feel bad about themselves. We need to counter this strongly!
