Just posting my results before I look up what they mean and get all shy about these mysterious numbers revealing too much.  They are

    Introverted         Intuitive         Feeling          Perceiving
            50                     50                 38                  33

It does say that I missed a question, so these result are provisional.  Can't find the question I missed and don't think one question is going alter the numbers.

haven't heard anything back yet. I doubt he will respond to be honest. I think he has not been on youtube for a while may-well be a defunct account.

Nah he uploaded a new youtube vid last week.

From watching his vids, I know he thinks the tests are garbage and recommends people learn the functions in more detail.

Yea, makes sense.  When you posted you were an ENFP, I wasn't surprised, but you don't have all the ENFP classic tendencies either, so you had to be more balanced on either J/P or F/T, since those to me appear to make the most significant difference in how a person presents.

Seems I was right.  I love it when I'm right, doesn't happen that often.   dance

It happened to me too. I remember the first time you told me about it, and I did it, and I thought to myself: "wtf is this shit? its 4 letters" but eventually I got my head around the theory, and it mate alot of sense to me.

LOL, it was a freaky experience for me to watch youtube vids of people who had a such a similar disposition to me. I'm used to it now, but it was freaky - and moving - initially.

I took this test again just to see how much I've changed in the last 2 years. This is what I got then:

    I got INFJ

    Introverted 11
    Intuitive 25
    Feeling 38
    Judging 11

And these are my results now:

    INFJ
    Introverted  56
    Intuitive   38
    Feeling   12
    Judging  1

I've become much more introverted, which is pretty accurate. It's down to bitterness mostly though, meh.

Also, just like last time I still think INFP might fit me better.
  • Re: Your personality type - what is it?
     Reply #855 - January 19, 2012, 08:14 AM

Yea, I would still say INFP for you.

You know in all the many many repeat tests I have taken my type has only been INFP.  Only a few times I got ENFP when I used the cognitive functions test to break it down.

I think types can lean more towards another type.  So for me I lean between INFP and ENFP, and for you your lean could be between INFP and INFJ.  Even though others would say it's not possible because the cognitive functions are totally different in your situation, I still believe people can appear as hybrids of types that are somewhat different.

Inhale the good shit, exhale the bullshit.

No, the first time I did it, I got INFP I don't know why that happened, maybe I made the wrong choices, or maybe that was a true reflection at the time. But I was not pretending, I knew instantly INFP did not fit me, I didn't like fantasy and emotional stuff.

  • Re: Your personality type - what is it?

Never done this before: Got INFJ

    Introverted  Intuitive  Feeling  Judging
    78                25           38         33

Found a few of the questions quite sticky to answer because they could depend on the situation

Didn’t realize that I was that much of an introvert, but feeling extremely sad right now so maybe that affected the results a bit.

Tests only provide you with a general idea. They're not accurate. That one definitely isn't.
  • Re: Your personality type - what is it?

    ISTJ
    Introverted   Sensing   Thinking   Judging

    100                      1                 38           1
    very expressed introvert
    slightly expressed sensing personality
    moderately expressed thinking personality
    slightly expressed judging personality

I've taken this a few times over the past years, I wish I tracked the results each time because they haven't always been the same

Previously, I've had INTP and INTJ. It's the fist time I've been "sensing"

Would be interesting if I was able to see what exactly was going on in my life each time I had a different result.

    Hi Peru

I am sure you know a bit more than me about this test. Can you say how you are able to tell that mine is definately inaccurate?  Smiley

I meant that test isn't very accurate. The accuracy of your result is what you feel it is. No one knows you better than yourself.

I used to be a planner...I loved planning and following my plans, and I had structure in my life. That was the time I was confident and brilliant at what I did...now I stopped looking ahead, from stress, stopped planning...because planning = facing the work and the time that I have = more stress and I can't handle the high stress any more, messes everything in my life.

I used to be obsessive about what I did. I loved it = I obsessed over it.

Now I've developed a terrible habit of not facing it and can't get out of the loop.

    Strength of the preferences %

I'll be honest, I don't seem like an INTJ, maybe little bits do fit.... :/ I've had INTJ a few times now along with a couple of INFJ results.

Also tried the link Godot gave.

    Quote
Extroversion results were low which suggests you are very reclusive, quiet, unassertive, and private.

Orderliness results were moderately high which suggests you are, at times, overly organized, neat, structured and restrained at the expense too often of flexibility, variety, spontaneity, and fun.

Emotional Stability results were low which suggests you are very worrying, insecure, emotional, and anxious.

Accommodation results were low which suggests you are overly selfish, uncooperative, and difficult at the expense too often of the well being of others.

Inquisitiveness results were high which suggests you are very intellectual, curious, imaginative but possibly not very practical.

You could be depressed. One of the traits is losing interest in things you enjoyed or liked doing, and planning. Most depressive folks live in the here and now, they find it hard to plan for the future. I live for the minute, I find it hard to care about the too distant future.
