Just browse the list and now the Qur'an mentions how the moon has 28 stages, how milk comes from blood, the word black hole being in a verse, the earth as a rocking cradle, and even ICE comets.

Best part. According to Answering-christianity, The Qur'an says how human DNA is 99% similar to pigs and monkeys!! Many Muslims in the world would probably label the answering-christianity team as kuffar.

I love the way in one of the articles they say that the following verse is a miracle because it is talking about Gamma Ray Bursts:

67:5And certainly We have adorned this lower heaven with lamps and We have made these missiles for the Shaitans, and We have prepared for them the chastisement of burning.

And then says "I therefore challenge those doomed-to-Hell infidels to refute this article"!!!

I think anybody with an IQ of over 35 would be able to refute that!

I remember reading off some site that the quran predicts osteoporosis with this verse I think:

What is actually kind of funny, is that most all of the 'scientific miracles' of the quran are so wrong scientifically, that they basically wind up disproving the quran (unless you are a complete science illiterate and dont understand why they are wrong).

I bet we could invent our own 'miracles'.

Can anyone through muslim eyes, offer an explanation for the basic mathematical mistakes in its inheritance laws?

In Quran 4:11 - 12-176, the share of the inheritance of the-

Wife (1/8) is: = 3/24
Daughters (2/3) = 16/24
Father (1/6) = 4/24
Mother(1/6) = 4/24
Total = 27/24

i.e. larger than the total funds available

Just noticed there's not contingent for brothers. Are they left with a minus percentage i.e. rather than inheriting, they are left to contribute into everyone else's pot

This is not a direct mistake, don't waste time on it. In real life shares never add up, specially after counting excess + spoilage.

To satisfy this equation here is what everyone will end up with:

Wife (1/8) is: = 3/27
Daughters (2/3) = 16/27
Father (1/6) = 4/27
Mother(1/6) = 4/27
Total = 27/27

At best, you can debate the language the equations were presented with, but then this is no longer the clear-cut argument that the koran is stupid.

Which goes back to the reason why one can't take it literally - there are even behaviours noted by Muhammad which go against what the Qur'an demands; IIRC there is a example of a female who committed adultery but Muhammad decided not to punish her for example. I wonder when one looks at what the Qur'an pronounces and what Muhammad did that maybe the issue is a need for Muslims to understand the spirit of the book rather than line by line literalism.

lol i was really drunk last night. I was stuck at home, no new years party. No parents at home (im home for the holidays) and so I just bought 2 cases of Coronas and finished them in one sitting. FUCK MY LIFE.
