    These are kope's threads: http://www.neunbeere.de/rd.net/Users/72642.html

The links don't work yet. I (rather my pc) am currently working on turning the backed up data into a fully functioning independent website.

you are kidding right? you have not made a back up? that would be awesome

    I have.  See here: http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=365133#p365133

Wouldn't happen here - this forum is not controlled by anyone apart from the admin/mods.

I've often wondered about that actually. You own the domain but the CEMB have been paying the hosting costs and would probably have some sort of legal claim to the database (not sure about the situation there). So if they did decide to pull the pin at any point I'm not sure what would happen. Mind you I always have full database backups anyway but the could be some dispute over who would be allowed to use them.

Oh and someone in the comments section of the blog that was linked to mentioned that they had contacted some of the YouTube atheists about this but they didn't mention Chris. I might drop her a line and see if she's interested.

Why don't the RD folks come over here? I mean we don't mind. But can the servers handle it?

That's pretty awesome.  Afro I assume that what you have is only the public postings and not the members' personal information. Are there any copyright problems with forum content? Is RDF likely to make a fuss about it?

You mean on a tour or something? Dunno But I'm 99% sure it was him - I was driving the opposite way and it was just a glimpse but I'd know him anywhere and it's not the first time I've seen him cycling round Oxford.

Most likely I will be banned, after about a week... Most of my posts come across trollish, and moreover I don't ass lick so I tell folks what I really think of them, including the staff, forums are run like dictatorships, they don't want any decent. Plus most folks who even know me on here at times think I am being misogynistic, if I say something like, most women enjoy being submissive, it arouses them.

There are quite a few women over there, I might have my balls handed to me. Most non-ex Muslim atheists don't get ex-Muslim atheist humor. I mean we randomly drop words like "fag" etc, it is completely done innocently, but non-ex-Muslim atheists just don't get it. Most of the time they are too overly PC.

Plus, I also come across as a retard because I don't proofread my posts. Retardedly trollish posts are likely to get you banned.

    I think we should Smiley

Get some more exposure, maybe more muslims will visit, though I doubt we will find many muslims on those forums.
  • Re: Richard Dawkins forum comes to an end...
     Reply #116 - February 28, 2010, 02:37 PM

Dont forget some of those atheists will know muslims, debate with muslims, might make muslims start to question and might let them know that exmuslims forums exist etc.

At the minute there is still a myth that no true muslim has ever left Islam, and once they know they have, then every muslim knows its an option and consideration.

Its free advertising space in any case that is often left blank..and a link at least lets people know apostates exist in Islam, and if that is the only message that gets spread, then its still worth it..
