To speak or not to speak
OP - March 02, 2010, 12:06 PM
27:83 - And (remind them of) the Day when We shall gather out of every nation a host of those WHO DENIED OUR REVELATIONS...
27:84 - Till, when they come (before their Lord), He will say: DID YE DENY MY REVELATIONS
27:85 - And the Word will be fulfilled concerning them because they have done wrong, and THEY WILL NOT SPEAK
So when asked about their disbelief the unbelievers will not speak, however later it says:
46:34 - And on the day when THOSE WHO DISBELIEVE are exposed to the Fire (they will be asked): Is not this real? THEY WILL SAY: Yea, by our Lord!
But here it says that they will say "Yeah by our Lord!"
I suspect the Muslims' answer will be "when he says the first thing they will not speak, but when he says the 2nd thing they will", but it looks to me that in essence these are the same question. There are many contradictions I have found so far, I just wondered what people thought about this one? Maybe there are additional clues if you are able to read the Arabic?
Cheers
