Like the hymen? Out of curiosity, what do you mean?

As in the fact that the foreskin when born is fused to the glans and not able to be retracted without tearing it from the glans. This in effect is similar to the hymen as both are there to prevent things (dust and pathogens) getting in there throughout childhood when immune systems are still being built-up. An infection completely being prevented there is a good thing at this stage. When puberty does come about and erections occur more often and also masturbation etc., the boy has to slowly retract it over time to prevent tears and pain. This is much like the case with females where either slowly over time the hymen is broken down through activities such as sports or where slowly over time it is reduced through sex. Sex where there is most arousal helps too due to lubrication being better meaning that the sex isn't quite so abrasive. A foreskin being present downstairs helps maintain any liquids within it meaning that there is lubrication preventing so much abrasion as well.

P.s I'm not saying that they are analogous structures, I'm just saying that they have similar roles during childhood and are helped in terms of pain when starting sex by similar techniques for example by being slow and careful and also masturbation.
