    Happy Birthday my friend !

the "best" part is the when you fall as sleep drunk and the sun bakes you brains (my windows face the sun). Always "nice" results when I wake up. Isn't drinking illegal where you live?

Drinking is not illegal in many Muslim-majority countries including Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, and Syria.
There are bars and liquor stores. Although after the war, most Baghdad bars were forced to close. But from what I hear some have reopened.

Well yeah sure. But it depends. Like our neighbor used to walk to the liquor store around the corner to get a bottle of alcohol everyday and nobody said anything.
Both my grandfathers were drinkers until their late 40s. My dad told me that in the 80s when he used to go to the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate Club dinners alcohol was served on EVERY table.

As far as I know, muslims don't celebrate birthdays because it's bidah, imitating the kuffar (especially the candle blowing) and of course, because they like to be fuckng killjoys.

With your birthdays & open consumption of alcohol, sounds like Iraqi's even in time of Saddam were more liberated than desi's

    I would say so.
    Check these maps. Very Interesting:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Religion_in_the_world.PNG (Iraqis along with Syrians and Iranians consider Islam less important than Muslims in most other Muslim nations do)
