ITV is not going to show France-Uruguay match. Is the BBC gonna?

It will be broadcast on BBC1.

The opening ceremony will be broadcast on ITV1 starting at 1:00 followed by the South Africa v Mexico game at 3:00.
The France v Uruguay game will be broadcast on BBC1 at 7:30 (coverage starts at 7:00).

The South Africans have a young and inexperienced crew. They seemed a bit nervous at the start, but they are definitely starting to wake up!

I support South Africa, but I do think Mexico will win this game. I hope I am wrong!

Those Vuvuzelas (the plastic horns making that damn noise) will litter this World Cup. This is how they make a match atmosphere in South African football.  Roll Eyes

I think Mexico may just sneak a 1-0 win in the 2nd half. I hope Javier 'Chicarito' Hernandez gets that one. Looking forward to seeing that boy play for United this season.

    South Africa 1-1 Mexico [FT]

Have to say the match was pretty much even in the end. Mexico were a bit more creative with their possession and South Africa dug in and could have (and should have) won the game. Unlucky Mpela struck the post. But over all, fair result given Mexico tested South African goalie Khune a lot as well.
