Nope. It's, as Oz said, curiosity, and of course tenacity and stamina.

Tenacity and stamina are good tools to use with your Faith.  I guess it's too late for you all though, right?

    tsk.

It is when it comes to the Unseen.

Thinking and feeling in the absence of hard evidence are subjective. If anything is unseen it is by definition unknowable. We use objective means to make it knowable by revealing the evidence and we usually do this by employing some technological extension of one or more of our senses, like a telescope say, coupled with a tool like mathematics.

man! it was not one of the options!!!
please choose only one or the other.
IN YOUR OWN POINT OF VIEW is it better to:
    1) be a good person who don't believes in god
2)be an evil person who does believes in god
    just choose 1 or 2

About 50 years too late but I did use them to rid myself of the falsities of faith.

    you said...

"If the Muslims stole innocents from their homes and sold them into slavery, they were 100% wrong."

    I said...

"Well they did this.  They attacked non muslims and invaded their land taking innocent people from their homes. This is a part of Islamic methodology. You just called the methodology of Islam evil.

I find it funny that you enjoy debating when you are not only ignorant of Islamic beliefs but also Islamic history."

I've read Strassman's work on DMT but I am unsure how you are drawing a connection between DMT and Islam. Perhaps this would be better discussed in a fresh thread as I am very much interested in DMT.

okay... here are a few ayats.  What is the theme?  Sex, wine, and more sex.  And then some more sex after that.  WHERE does it discuss fellowshipping with god?  Except for a brief "salam" at the start of things.  Then its off to more sex, laying around in green silk getting a non suntan, and then more sex.

Similar to the descriptions of hellfire, this is imagery designed for a people of earth, who are limited to earth experiences, to give them an idea of what it will be like in the eternal realms.  It's basically saying, "It's like everything you love the most but MORE!!"  I don't believe our experiences in the spirit world of the future will be the same as the scriptual descriptions; they are designed to give us an idea of extreme pleasure or extreme pain.

And why the emphasis on the "pretty boys" serving everyone?

It was probably something that the Arabs of the time period considered as part of their idea of luxury.

so it is metaphors Huh?? maybe, also when they says god maybe it is a metaphor refering to someone who lived in that times and claimed that he was god?Huh?

If I started wacking people upside the head with a machete, and my family started doing it, and then their families, and their families, etc., would it suddenly be considered "Islamic Methodology" to go around wacking people with machetes?

Why in the world would you possibly think it is "Islamic" to steal people from their homes just because sme greedy @$$holes decided to do it?

    Please explain.

You just called the methodology of Islam evil.

It's Islamic methodology because it is ordained by Allah that this behaviour is allowed and was practised by Muhammad and his companions. (taking the women of enemy combatants as slaves)

You say words of kufr through your ignorance. You just in effect called Muhammad and his companions "greedy bastards".

If you really don't believe me research it yourself or I (or anyone else here) will post the mountains of evidence for you from Islamic sources.

I've read Strassman's work on DMT but I am unsure how you are drawing a connection between DMT and Islam.

Dr. Strassman's study revealed that the DMT 'trip' is actually our brains tuning in to a different frequency enabling us to experience different realities or universes, all with different rules and entities.  Our bodies make DMT naturally and it is in certain circumstances that the levels get high enough to cause the 'trip.'  There are 2% of the human population that have the ability to trip without the aid of outside stimuli (the prophets were clearly in this category) such as ritual movement, meditation, and natural so-called "hallucinogenic" substances.

The field is still brand new, but the door has been opened.  The path to other realms is now ready to be mapped by science.  Allah is the Lord of all the worlds.  We thought He was only talking about our universe's planets, right?

Who claimed he was a god?

you told that there was differents things who can be interpreted as metaphors(like description of heaven and hell) so why when they describing god it wouldn't be a metaphor for someone or something that was considered as god at that time?
    Both.

    It's a tie.

Does it really matter if hell is a billion degrees or a trillion?

if hell is a billion degree it is a fact so there is no opinions here, but in the question i'am asking you, the respond differs from the person asked, so i want to know your opinion, why are you afraid to respond something using your OWN opinion?

Are you trying to say that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his companions were actually stealing innocent people out of their homes and selling them into slavery?

This is the last of your posts I will answer, because you are not right in the head.  Truly.  I cannot work in these conditions.  Who let you out?

It's Islamic methodology because it is ordained by Allah that this behaviour is allowed and was practised by Muhammad and his companions. (taking the women of enemy combatants as slaves)

You are confused.  If they were on the battlefield encouraging their pagan menfolk to attack and kill the believers in the One God, then they were by no means "innocent."

In our views they were innocent, cause they didn't done something wrong, in your views they weren't innocent  because they weren't believing in the same god as you.

Has the existence of God been proved scientifically? (Yes/No)? If No, then case closed. If yes, then please provide the proof, or give reference to a "scientific" journal, book where a decisive proof has been provided for God, as understood in religion.
