Chickens are more aware than a fetus. A chicken once resembled a human fetus -
A chicken foetus does not develop into a human. What they look like is quite irrelevant.
A chicken is alive and will feel suffering and pain, more so than a fetus. You're killing something more developed, more aware of its surroundings, more aware of itself, more aware of danger, but thats ok.
But I am not arguing against killing something that is aware of its environment, I am arguing against limiting something that will develop into a human being like me. There is a difference.
Why does the argument of awareness and potential, or freedom to exist apply only to humans in your world view?
Because as a human I only argue for my species and because most species will not have or develop the intellectual capacity to understand concepts like species.
