Fantastic in every sense. This film is indeed poetry, and a beautiful testament to love and the cycle of life, and the impermanence of death. Wow. The script is tight, and the non-linear presentation works very well. The scene compositions were exquisite. The score enhanced without being overbearing, which is so often the case in contemporary film.

The acting is absolutely superb, but then it's got Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz. I can't imagine Brad Pitt doing any sort of justice to this film. Darren Aronofsky lucked out in the long run by getting someone who has the range to portray the vast emotions required for Tomas/Tommy/Tom. Weisz has the depth for regal intrigue and spirited grace. Their chemistry makes their stories even more entrancing.

This film does require a thinking brain to be appreciated.

shame, i guess i wont be watching this then

CiV II was the best.  Epic continent wide empires dozens to a hundred cities now that was civilization.  Not this 5 -10 cities.  Even with all its flaws it was a great game.

Civ II was wonderful. Does anyone know how to get it working on Windows 7?

Half-Life was awesome. Its probably the reason I'm a science major.

So much to talk about gaming, and if I were to make a blog it would probably be about this topic. Anyway in response to the OP, some of my favorite games of all time:

    Super Street Fighter II Turbo
    Starcraft: Brood War
    Fallout 3
    Zelda OoT, MM
Captain Tsubasa II (a real gem, must play for soccer fans)

and probably some more that I can't think of on the top of my head. My tastes tend to fall towards the retro, probably due to the proliferation and easy availability of emu... I mean due to my expansive original retro games collection.

I played it and I personally think Halo 3 is much better. Halo CE remake is coming out this xmas, looking forward to that.
