Don't go anywhere now - that's for sure!

If you want to travel - do it tomorrow, when they've all gone home.

Reminds me of the Bradford riots a long ass time ago when I told my mum I wanted to go round the corner so I can wave to her on TV *nostalgia*

Also, you can occasionally get some nice stuff at Primark. It just sucks when you sit on the bus and everyone is wearing the same top you are.

Like Hassan I wanted to say Never, but if one of my kids was starving and his / her life dependent on me looting something, then I'd do it.

FHS, why don't they bring the army to help out and catch them gangs, if this riot was in Afghanistan/Iraq/Libya or any other oil producing country, the army would be there before one can blink.

yeah, i think the best is to stay put at home rather than go anywhere.
we lived in the dalston area for a few years, luckily my family went upmarket and moved to Ilford recently! dalston is a nice neighbourhood - loads of yummy kebab shops - really hope they are not attacked, those guys were always so nice but always used to complain to me the area was so violent and something like this would happen one day. this is all pure opportunism from criminals now.

all i see on the news are pictures of burning buildings/cars in London and stories of people scared in their own homes. this is getting seriously depressing - don't know why i'm getting so emotional about it. hope it fucking ends soon.

ken livingstone just on tv blaming the economical problems/government spending cuts/youth unemployment/scant prospects for young people etc. as contributing to fueling the anger of the rioters. i wonder if he has a point?

It's no coincidence that ordinary people are close to raging at any given moment and the nation is getting raped by a criminal coalition government.

This is some crazy shit. I just came home to Norway from London. I love London been there couple of times. I know that some areas in London got a history with riots (Brixton for example).

These thugs are destroying the city and peoples business.  Dont you guys got National Guard or something? Sending in the Traffic Police???
