    The question a lot of people who aren't familiar with muslims wonder is are the radicals growing or diminishing? In a way I think it's partly a generation thing and identity politics. In fact I actually opened a thread on whether or not religion is the new racial divide, schizo made that comment.

    I hear that a lot from UK muslims. all the white people they know (or most) aren't religious, whereas brown tend to be more. I was actually talking about it with someone from a muslim background a few days ago, who basically repeated my own thoughts and what others have said. But eh, you can't say that because it's like this now this is how it'll always be.

    Where I live, everyone is packing "conceal and carry". No one messes around here. Very little gun crime.
    Job market is better in the city. I admit I am lucky to be working in a rural area. But I can't do the city anymore, forget the money.
    Creationism doesn't get a toehold in the North.
    Oh, and obesity is awesome. I just made a deep dish apple pie.
