    I get so annoyed by this, I swear. Why do religious people say this? I swear they're projecting. Isnt this exactly what religion is about?

    There are differences in the acceptance [uptake] and practice of religion. So "religious people" is a collectivism of something that is not collective.

    No..No  I thought about that  and I think about "LOVE" all the time ., But  dear carpentaro,  god being a belief in human brain, I am not worried about this  love between god and me.    certainly i  believe in   Love every one   without any exception to start with .  And  it appears you too have that habit.,  that is a good habit you have.

    But you can do that "LOVE"  WITHOUT ANY RELIGIONS AND RELIGIOUS BOOKS/religious discourses ..  in fact you can see" love" in animal kingdom all the time..Human being is no exception to that rule..

    But   but please realize  religions and religious preaching is very little to do with love but more to do with empire building and controlling human freedom at every step in their life.  I can give examples from the  day a  religion  began  to to this day..

    It puts you in contact with and gives you an understanding of God.
    There are many [I'd say most] people that have a niggling feeling that there is something bigger than themselves. Wouldn't you like to know? Satisfaction of an age old curiosity in how human kind fits in.

You're basically here saying that not only is God real, but it is the Christian God, and that we should all jump on board, and your justifications have more or less been to the order of, "Birds. Trees. All this fancy oxygen. I don't understand it none. But Jesus does. What say you?!"

    I can tell it's somehow important to you to imagine yourself better than your average Muslim. I've got bad news for you, my friend. Strike out every instance of "Jesus" or "Christianity" in what you've written here, it is identical to the garbage Muslims bring us. In fact, many Muslim apologists are far more convincing and coherent than you, and at least tried to bring science and reason to the table. How are those scientific articles you're looking for coming along?
