Welcome!
On going raw, there is loads of misinformation about that! The problem is we have been roasting grilling and boiling stuff for two million years, and a large proportion of our digestive system is now actually outside us, in cooking, knives and forks, and breeding food.
The studies of people going raw ignore the processing of olive oil, that bananas have been bred for so long it is silly and many other examples of ignored processing.
Thank you.
Many raw vegans don't consume oils, they use it for skin care. And it's true that the bananas have been bred for so long but there isn't anything wrong with that. It's very nutritional.
To be honest, if you try hard enough you can find a study to support almost anything. Everyone's trying to sell you something. I just try and listen to my body, and on raw vegan diet it's very happy. I tried the modern bodybuilders diet, then the paleo diet. Both were terrible.
Cooking is really the worse thing we can do food, so many nutrients are rendered useless. We are the only species to do it, and we are all so sick. The pharmaceutical industry loves it though

. Sure there maybe fruits such as tomato that release more lycopene upon cooking, but we forget about the countless number of nutrients that we just destroyed. I could ramble on forever, but I think the best thing to do is to try it for yourself
